Some people may not be reading the fine print this far in advance of an event, but that could be a mistake. The first of four bi-monthly periods is half over, and with four weeks to go before the cost goes up, I don't want anyone to say they didn't know.
The registration price goes up by $10 after December 31st. And then it goes up again the end of February and the end of April.
And if you intend to use the payment plan, that rate increase will be spread out in fewer payments, so the payment amounts will be progressively higher. If you haven't read all the info, you may not even be aware of the payment plan. Check out that link, and see if you missed anything.
Also, the only way to get in the drawing for a week at the Akumal vacation condo is to sign up by December 31st. Nobody who registers after that date will be eligible for it. More info about that is near the bottom of this page.
So this month is the best time to register. We know it's the Holiday shopping season, but the event committee has expenses too. We have to fork over deposits, order stuff, and estimate things. A quality event depends on preparation. And giving lower rates to the early signups helps both the organizers and the attendees. It's the best we can do for you, so please take advantage of it.
