Hmmm.. It looks "ok" , but I can't say how well those hinges will hold up with our 85 lb+ doors. you WILL need struts that can handle our heavy doors. The part that troubles me isn't the "outward" hinge, it's the vertical one on that one on ebay.

I don't know how much I'd be willing to pay for them.

Here are the decah ones, just to compare:

This cost $1,200. it needed to be modified before it would fit my car.

I guess a few hundred wouldn't be too bad to gamble on this "kit", but estimate how much it will cost in total... hinges, struts, strut holders, and tools or whatever you need to do the install. Also, things like the "Bump Stops" and lower strut mouting points don't seem to be there in the one on EBAY.

If he was able to make a "Bolt on" Fiero kit for about 600, I bet you a lot of people would buy them...

Hmmmm......very scary! I seen one in Bakersfield Ca on a black Celica. One of the workers there mentioned it to me that a girl had some just like mine. Upon further inspection they were NOT Decah VDC kit but a knck-off.

How did I know? The doors on the Celica are vertical...but thats it! They didn't "butterfly" outward. Also, Decah has a bump-stop as FieroRumer mentioned. The bump stop allows or prevents the door from interfering w/the A-piller when opening. With the Celica one has to manually move the door outward. The Celica door although is vertical, there isn't enough room to get in the car comparred to FieroRumers and mine.

I'm gonna wait until "our" secret mad welder makes the kit.
