Yes there's more! My mother couldn't believe I "wasted" 17 pictures of film on "a car"!

The interior

The speaker seats. Aside from being dirty, they're in pretty good condition, aside from the drivers side having the 'usual tear' which the previous owner actually sewed black leather patches over.

Close up shot of the guages

The shifter console and crappy aftermarket stereo. I fixed the BADLY warped shifter console with gorilla glue and binder clips, before it was sticking out about an inch in the middle, and you could see all the yellow padding and everything, now it looks like new!

Side shot

The front compartment, with what appears to be a slightly used spare tire

The other side of the compartment, nobody ever posts pics of. Can you tell if the AC has been converted to R134 just by looking at it, because it needs to be recharged?

Here's what you see driving it! The steering wheel is pretty worn.

The 14" High Tech rims, with 1 year old 'Barum Brillantis' tires, anyone ever heard of these?

And finally a shot of the interior from the outside.

The car is a red 1984 Fiero SE, all options from the factory except sunroof and power mirrors, thought the car no longer has it's original stereo, floormats, or front license plate holder (but the holes are still there!). The car also came with the original deler-option car bra, I keep in my room. The bra really wore down the paint on the fascia, though the paint on the rest of the car is nothing to brag about either. It looks fine from about 5ft, but up close, it's pretty bad. The pictures hide it well

I took the pics when the starter was still bad, I actually pushed it out of the garage into the driveway, that's as far as I could push it since the drive goes uphill. The first pic was taken when it still ran. The car's running fine now, and has a license plate, a blue MI plate with white letters, '2M4 SE' and looks great on the back of it!

When an AC conversion is done, a decal is supposed to be placed near or on the unit that states it was done. That way, mechanics and future owners know what to put in.

Drive it till the engine dies, get a fastback GT, and restore the 84 to showroom new condition FULL restoration, every part repainted, all rust taken off, NOS parts used where available, etc, hopefully it'll be a while before then.

Oh yeah, it's car 24,421, one of the earliest I've ever seen, I'm guessing it was made in late 83, since I can't read the date on the door sticker.

Thanks for the kind words so far!

What a great ride. Course I can say that cause its almost exactly like mine. hehe Mine's an 84 SE too and came from the factory almost exactly like yours but the red paint has been painted over with a light blue. Normally I'd really hate that but its a really good looking color on the Fiero IMO and it was an ok paintjob. I have the speaker seat too but the aftermarket stereo in mine is toast and I can't afford another right now. What are they like so close to your ears? Do they blare in your ears? Are they decent sounding? I just might keep mine if so. How do I find out the production number of mine?

Anyway....nice pics and again great ride.

Thanks, this is the one I posted about in your other thread

Actually in fixing the electrical, the stereo's dead now, hopefully just a fuse or something, I'm going to go pull it later. I never had the volume too far up, but when you lean back in the seat and have your head on the headrest, it does feel weird. I think it needs new speakers, because they didn't sound so good. I thought they would 'blare in your ears' but they're just like having rear speakers as long as you're not too close, but then I don't listen to music real loud.

You can find the production number by looking at the VIN #, the last digits in mine are 224421, meaning it's car 24,421. I think if there was a 1 where that first 2 is, it would make it 124,421.

Cool! That looks really good. You don't hear many good things about '84s on the forum here, its good to see one in good condition like yours.

Can you tell if the AC has been converted to R134 just by looking at it, because it needs to be recharged

The comnnectors between R134 and R12 are different. They should have been changed when a conversion was done. If you have small black caps on the accum then it is stil R12, R134 connectors are biger and the caps are red and blue (I think, been a while).
