Thought I would take these to show you guys that the crash structure in a fiero really works. This was the aftermath from a rear-ending by a semi traveling at 45 MPH. I was stopped. The link to the whole story is in my sig. I have been parting it out and selling stuff on ebay since april. Here is a small addition to the story from a recent ebay auction of mine:
After the accident, as I wandered around looking at the damage, I noticed the only damage to the truck was a bent bumper and a chunk out of the tire. I thought nothing else of it. The car was later towed back 70 miles to Flint, MI. When I was removing the hitch (for sale, check my other items) in knee deep snow, I saw something black and slender sticking out of the driver's side tip, but I figured it was some of the black plastic bumper support and ignored it. About 2 weeks ago, when I was removing other parts, I saw the item again and finally pulled it out. To my surprise, it was rubber and said "Inflate to 60 PSI" on it. Memories of the accident flooded back, and I remembered the chuck of the truck's front tire...I could not believe that it stuck in the exhaust pipe and furthermore, had not been lost in 6 months! Even though my car shattered into what seemed like a million pieces, the only chunk missing from the semi was a piece of the tire...and of all the frame steel the semi hit, it was this lowly exhaust tip that came away with a chunk of the truck of the jerk that hit me. Amazing.
Anyway, here are the pics.

I just got off the phone with another friend in the area, actually called as I was finishing the post. He is having it towed elsewhere and one of the things he is taking is the sunroof setup. Sorry! I will let you know if he falls through. It HAS to be moved by this saturday, so you may not have much notice. You may want to PM me your cell number.

What about the aero trim ? I could use both the left and right set if they are as good as they look. I'm off work Monday and Tuesday and could use a trip to Flint. Let me know what you would want for them.
Hmmm....... how much for the passengers side door skin??

OK, guys; To anyone wanting parts: I am done removing parts from the car, and it will no longer be in my possesion in as little as a day or so. If you want something, ESPECIALLY from the body (rivets require drills and I do not have one), you will have to come and remove it from the car VERY SOON. I cannot really remove parts myself or ship them because my finals start on thursday and I am leaving the state on sunday. Sorry.

I would be also interested in the rocker trim if ARKaiser doesn't pick them up, and maybe a few small parts if they are available. You're probably not far away from me and I can stop by anytime after 5:00pm during the week. PM or email me directions and time that would work for you.

Brent, he's up at Kettering University, at W. Third Avenue & Chevrolet.
Tigger - go for the trim pieces. I'm not going to be able to go get them like I had hoped. I need to spend my time replacing the headlights on the car. (Cops are no longer believing they just went out). If you get them and find you don't need all the parts let me know and maybe we can work something out.
