Just got it today.

For those that didn't see my O/T post when I won the auction, it is a Manta Mirage. It has a Buick 215 aluminum V8 (possible stroked) mated to a Corvair 4-speed. It weighs about 1800 lbs and, as you can see, is rather small. Its a little wider than a Fiero (at 75 inches) but only 39 inches high. At the moment, I barely fit. I'll have to modify the floorpan and dash to be able to drive comfortably.

Niceeeeee! Did you ever find some mirrors for it? I would get different wheels too, but that's just me.

Yeah, I'm getting these mirrors:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=33649&item=7906338031&rd=1&ssPageName=WDVW

I'll eventually get different wheel but for now they work. First on the list is to modify the cabin so I fit more comfortably. Then I need to rewire the entire car. This fall I will likely change the front end to a Mustang II suspension with disc brakes.

I just noticed that the Fiero tail lights in the Manta are flipped upside down and side to side. That means the focal vector will be 30 - 45 degrees from horizontal. !?! Oh well.
