Not sure how many of you remember a while back nos3800/soulcrusher started a thread with quarter mile ets and mods for fieros. I went on to start a quarter mile database @ http://www.2bluesc.com/quarter-mile.php
I've updated it so that users can login and update stats about your car, but no automated registration yet. Contact me if you want an account.
Anyways, I got to thinking, this come fall when I go away to college and leave my fiero behind I'm going to have some free time that was previous occupied by the car. If there was enough interest to make it worth wild, I could go as far as building something like cardomain where you can upload pics, list mods, and go in to details about your car(s).
By the way, this thread is sponsored in part by Mr. Pat who emailed me and reminded me I have a quarter mile database on my website.
What do you guys think? By the way, I hope skitime and the owner of the other fiero in the header don't take offense to me using their pictures. It was made before my car was driveable...

When he started that post it inspired me to start my database. I initally followed all the updates, but I haven't updated it lately. I think it would be better if users actively updated the stats on their car in my database, otherwise the numbers will become dated and useless as people continue to mod.

Ok, I have a question for you! I have an et@MPH with my old engine, but right now I'm in the middle of an engine swap. Can you change your engine info at a later time too. If you want to email me, send an email the Fast88Fiero@yahoo.com

You can update your all your car's stats recorded on the website yourself (ie engine, et, tranny, misc mods).
I set you up and account and emailed you the details.
Arn what I did is to wait awhile so they forget about me then just pop up make 3 runs at average then go all out after which you will get kicked out,if the same tech inspectors are there every week then you have a problem especially since my car was in multi colors but I will eventually put in a detatchable roll bar.

The tracks here in Canada want a roll cage if you are under 12 sec.
Your car is simply beautiful. How did you solve the roll cage issue or is there an issue in your jurisdiction?
Arn
Same here ... Roll cage below 11.99. We got a few tracks around here, problem is it's not a Chevelle, a Camaro, or a Corvette. People tend to remember a car like mine, being female doesn't help either. Perhaps the reason too, a lot of the V-8 owner don't frequent tracks to often. There comes a point where have to make the decision whether to have a street or drag car.
So for now the only choice I do have is go to a different track every time I go, hope the Tech people do not recognize the car, keep it over twelve and towards the end of the day step on it.
Not the best solution, certainly going around the safety rules with this approach and I really don't feel too good about it doing it. If I was do this more regularly, (More than once a year, ... like I currently do) I would have to actually stop ignoring my conscience, get the safety equipment to make it legal and perhaps feel a lot better by having done so too.
