I am thinking about buying a set of the Fiero Store turbo scoops but I want to see what they look like installed first. So if you have a pic please post away. Thanks

I'm curious if it is alot harder to change lanes etc with these windows - the see-through part of the stock windows may be small but it does help all-around visibility.

It doesn't look like enough to me to be that much of a obstruction. I'm sure like anything else, your rear view mirror could take over somewhat of the haul. Plus don't you think if you tilt your mirrors a bit more out it wont totally hurt your view? I'm sure its not that much of a problem.

Thanks for the pics! That was more than enough. A + for you. Thats the first plus I have have ever given. I think that I am going to go with the windowless style. It looks cleaner to me. Who owns thte orange one? That is a very nice fiero. The red one is great looking too. How hard is it to install these things? It sounds easy enough, or are the directions just making it sound that way? Thanks again.

Well it's a pleasure to get your first plus from you. I'm not sure who owns the orange fiero. Here is on the forum, but I think he joined strictly to promote his fiero. He was selling this on ebay. I belive he wanted near 7 grand for it. I agree window less looks better, but it also depends to me on the color of your car. If its black then you probably want a window. If its another color, like red or such I would go and have the window painted to match the color of the car. It's not hard at all, when I first bought my fiero they had cracked quarter windows. So they were not good to begin with, I smashed them out and ripped them off. If you want to keep the ones you currently have on you will need a hair dryer to heat up the double sided tape underneath holding the windows, and a exacto knife to probably cut the tape and saw through it. It takes a tiny bit of patience, but it's a really simple thing to do. To install them, you need to scrape off the old tape and clean the surface alcohol. Get clean as you can, then apply the new double sided tape. Heat the tape up, and stick on the windows. Not hard at all. Just remember to not push the tape on the edge too much, cause I did and then I had a little bit of tapep showing from the windows edge. No biggie I cut what I could off and took some duplicolor paint and covered what was barely there. Looks fine. Good luck, and thanks for the plus again.

Did you notice how most of the people who have the 1/4 window scoops also have 1/4 panel scoops! They must be scoop enthusiasts I have a set of Fiero Warehouse normal repro windows on their way - once i get them i am going to do some scoop experimenting with my stock set.

I saw this car at the Michigan Fiero Club show last weekend. It has the most unique quarter scoops I've seen to date. I talked with the owner of the car. He custom cut the scoops and attached part of the original quarter window so the GT logo was still present. it kind of has a Lotus Esprit look to me. It also give of a N/B sail panel look with the lines of the F/B
Wingnut, I see what you're saying about how it gives it sort of a sail panel look to it. It doesn't look right to me. It looks wierd with it at an angle. I think it would of looked just as good if it was a whole turbo scoop window. Go figure, just my opinion of it all.
so was the scoop window cut and the stock window cut to show the GT logo? I'd like to cut mine, but has anyone ever cut the stock quarter windows before, dont they shatter

It looks like the turbo scoop window was cut that angle and put on top of the stock quarter window. I'm not sure what he used to cut his glass though. Looks as if he used double sided tape to put it over the stock window. As you can see at the edge of the overlay it sticks up a bit.
I'm curious, do the scoop versions fit better and match the original window's lines better than the aftermarket replacement windows? Those scoop versions with the little windows in gloss black are really starting to look tempting.

I have been thinking about these, and I think they are starting to look spectacular. I think they would look great gloss black on my bright red GT, and I am talking to Paul McKribben about custom GT decals so they look as much like a stock window as possible. That would be awesome!
