Well we finally had the big show this past weekend and what a great one it was! We had so much fun and the turnout was impressive considering it was our first show. We had people as far as Winnipeg, Manitoba come down for this, including some from Lethbridge, Saskatoon, Edmonton, and surrounding areas.
Our first afternoon (Saturday) was a BBQ at Fierosound's house (which I didin't have my camera for so if anyone has pics please post them here). The next day was the Show 'n Shine with 34 Fiero's registered and about 6 others that parked nearby to come see the event. Not bad for a first ever "Western Canada" Fiero Show. Maybe next year we can at least double that! Once the show came to a close, we went over to Hooter's to wind-down and finish off the day with some food and drinks. Our third and final day (Monday) was a Fiero Run of 13 cars to Banff and surrounding areas. All in all a fantastic time and I look forward to doing this again next year. A HUGE thanks to all those who pitched in and helped support the event and especially Tony (Fierosound) for putting in hundreds of hours of planning and work to make sure it all ran smoothly. We really appreciate it!

In this pic, you'll see that just after we got through the gates into the National Park, we all got pulled over for speeding. See the cop in the front?.......Ha, just kidding. They happened to be there already when we stopped there to re-group. But I had to take this picture...
I was wondering when someone was going to post pics! Looks like a great time, I couldn't go due to my parents 25th. I'll be there next year for sure! So who were some of the trophy winners?

It was a great show, and i can't wait to do it next year (hopefully my car will be able to compete against those other 2 yellow's ) I would like to thank Tony and the rest of the Calgary club and sponsors for there time and effort putting on this great show. I would also like to thank the outta towners that were staying with me for coming out. You are more than welcome to stay with us again next year (aunt still gushes about how good of house guests you were) even if you can't keep a tent up. If there is anything I can do for helping out next time lemme know and ill see what i can do.

What kind of wheels are on that Purple fiero with the flushmounts and cowl hood? I love those wheels. The blue car's paint is awesome, what shade of blue is it?

We had an article in the Sun on Friday before the show. It was submitted by Tony (Fierosound) and well written with history and all.
Thanks for the pictures guys. Sorry I couldn't make it to Banff.
I may be repeating what's already been said but here it goes: To all of you who couldn't / didn't make it this year: the show was a blast!! We had a lot of fun, goodie bags, door prizes and, of course, trophies! Thanks to Fierosound for doing most of the legwork. It was a 3-day event.
Not sure if anyone stated the numbers but we've had 34 cars registered, plus 6 or 7 that did not (and numerous people saying 'I should have...'). We hope to have 50+ cars next year and maybe the weather will cooperate too (that way we won't have to be under the parkade).
Also, thanks to all the out-of-town guys and girls (particularly as far as Manitoba). This type of show would be difficult to put on without all of you making that trip.

I made it back today, I will post some pics tomorrow.
I will repeat what everybody else has already said. Thanks Tony for all your work and everybody who contributed in the show.
I am the only white notchback Fiero, and the only white one that went on the Banff trip, and also, one of 2 2.5's (the only auto) that went to Banff. (I managed to keep up to too!)
Since I left home here on Saturday, I have driven about 850 Miles, and gone through 4 tanks of gas.
Are you 2 from Manitoba happy to be at a lower elevation and have better power now? I know I have noticed a bit of difference, but I am still 1600ft above sea level, I think.
