Does anyone have a picture of the luggage that was sold by Pontiac dealers in 1984 ? I understand that there was a a bag that fit the trunk space and a hanging bag that fit behind the seats.
Even better, does anyone have a piece that they would like to sell ?

It's not for sale but here is the bag for behind the seats and the 2 small duffel bags there is a larger duffel bag that also is part of the set.

this is the large and small bags together. I would like to find the larger bags to complete my set.

Thanks to all of you for the pictures. The colors appear to be like the 84 Indy. Has anybody sent this thread to Rodney ?
Hey Rodney, how about doing some luggage ?

The color is actually a dark blood-red burgundy color. It's not a standard red like the inserts in the Indy seats.

I thought the color choice was strange since burgundy wasn't an available color in 1984, the year the luggage was available.

If someone could find bags close in style and color the tags are just leather and silkscreen. They never went with the prototype stitched tags as in the dealer book.

PVL Inc
1523 N Main
Royal Oak MI 48067
313-548-1550
800-354-21113

This is the info that was in an ad for the stuff. The address is now the office for a newspaper and the tel numbers are no good. PVL appears to have existed up untill a few years ago. I haven't had the time to do more research. I intend to check with the State of MI and see if they are still incorped here or not. I had thought of calling the newpaper and seeing if knew anything about the old tenant. If I come up with anything you can be sure that I will let everyone know.

I would be up for a set as well if Rodney produces any.

There is a small goldmine to be made here.

Heck yeah, I'd be in for an accurate Rodney set so I can retire my real ones (and get a reproduction hanging bag as well).

Or maybe Mr. Mike? I would buy them if they were made in leather.
