First of all, wanted to wish a Happy New Year to all. I've been coming to the forum off and on for about 2 years now and have gotten absolutely hooked on these cars.
I've been checking out the posts and I wanted to know if there are any other Babes on the forum? If you're out there post your car pics. (If anyone else has pics of babe-owned Fieros, post them for me please.)
I'm happy to say that I'm getting ready to get my first Fiero and wanted some ideas on customizing it....What would you all suggest as the perfect "must-haves" for a customized Babe-Fiero? What about colors and accessories? I want some muscle under the hood, but finesse and sex appeal in the design. I've already named it "The Hottie"--now I just need to add the details to have it live up to the name. Any and all suggestions--complete with pics and links if possible--are welcome and appreciated. Let me know what you think.

Consider coming over to Austin TX in October for the Ruckus. It's a fun little Fiero gathering. Oh, and keep April in mind, for the Roundup in San Antonio.
I seen a pink Fiero once on I-70W near the OH WV line.

Hi Mistress, Cool signature. uhmm customized babe-Fiero? Haven't seen many on here. Tina does come to mind, but her car will "blow the doors off of most anything out there". A custmized babe-Fiero is not supposed to do that. It should be the picture of comfort and individual feminine styling that whispers "comon over and talk to me, baby". When anyone customizes a car, it's usually better to take smaller steps to achieve the end result. The smaller steps may change the direction of the whole project as you go along. Then you may have to decide between aesthetics or functional issues. Personally, I like "Hot Pink" as a color on a street rod, but I have to ask, What is your favorite color? Would you be happy with a stock appearing body or are you thinking of hood, decklid, sidescoop mods or maybe a total rebody? I'de recommend starting out small and build up. If you're out there looking, are you getting a fastback or a notchback? Stick or automatic? There are advantages to certain years of Fieros, so which year do you want? Red, orange and yellow are all promising base colors for a babe-Fiero. There are even a lot of "chameleon" paint colors available on custom paint jobs if the sky is the limit. You should try and go to the next Street Rod Nationals Show this coming summer. It's been held in cities like Louisville, Oklahoma City, and Cleveland in the past years. Thats where you'lle see the best customizing on finished vehicles with over 20,000 cars. Some of the girls here in the PFF archives have spotless vehicles. Check for Fierochick, Fiero Lisa, Tina, and Her86GT to name a few. 24 K Gold looks like a real beauty (the Fiero).

the sweet thing about a fiero is the many rebodies out there. anything from an off-road vehicle to a lambo or ferarri. parts are somethmes hard to find but being on this forum helps alot. many people here have a part/parts and are great to deal with (at least the ones i've dealt with so far) lastly...you HAVE to post pics. any pics. all pics. everyone here loves to see them.

Miss-Tress 007, Tina's car is pretty much the gold standard, as far as the ladies' cars go around here, but Her86GT, 24KGold SE, and a few others already mentioned aren't any slouches either. If you've got a lot of bread in your cupboard to spend, V-8 Archie's GT-40 conversion is about the most elegant-looking thing I've seen as far as rebodies go, and one done in the colors of Smith and Wesson's Ladysmith line of personal defense weapons would be about as bad as it gets, and still say "all woman," as I can think of. To get a look at the GT-40 (GT4T), go here: www.V-8archie.com And, btw, welcome to our friendly little asylum.

HUHHHH???? I would think you would want both a babe-Fiero and max muscle under the lid!
imagine the beautiful, attractive Fiero looking sexy and feminine and hiding a quaint little LS1 behind the firewall... I do admire babes that go fast....

HahaHa....Judging from the responses so far, I'm guessing that there aren't alot of babes on the forum. (I feel like I just stumbled into a frat house.) Anyway, I'm glad to join the madness at the "asylum" (as Vonov affectionately calls this) and can't wait to get started on my car.
(Thanks for the welcome, Diane--it's nice to know I'm not the only Babe among wolves.)
Are the babes you guys mentioned active on the forum? Does anyone have any pics of their cars or know where I can find some? I'm in the process of putting my design together and I'm looking for some more pics to help me get started. A little more info for you guys to chew on--I'm definitely looking for a fastback--most likely an '86 GT--stick shift of course (No, DelawareFiero, I'm not adding your suggested, er, shifter mod--even if it is in pink) And I definitely want some muscle under the hood--although I like Bazooka's description for the subtle sexy style for the body. Pretty much the sig kind of sums up the look and feel that I'm going for. Something to match my personality and kicks butt as a respectable, but unique car with some umph to it.
BTW, post some pics of the stuff you've been suggesting so far so I can have a visual of what you're talking about...

Welcome! Just be prepared there are some animals on here! But most everyone is respectable!
Here's me & my 88GT:
and here is my 85 that my father and I built and my boyfriend (now husband) and I did the body concepts. It's still a work in progress in a way (lots of ideas!):
We have a few other Fieros too but I don't really have any good pics...I had 3 and Matt has 1, and we recently got another one.
I think a pink car would be cool and different!

For the sake of the panting horde, I hope Mistress-007 isn't a fat guy sitting at the keyboard messing with them :-)
Let me put your mind at ease, Scott-Wa, I'm 100% girl.
I've been doing some research (thanks to the tip from DrDave) and there are some pretty cool cars out there. Jen (Fierochic88) your 85 is cool--love the color. I've definitely decided (as of now at least) to go with a more stock design. I like the classic lines and the original design--not that I have anything against Archie's GT40 or other mods. Those are really something and I'll probably end up trying one with my second project.
I'm just starting to get the jist of all the options available. I think this forum is going to become a bit addictive. There are just too many cool options to check out. The build threads are really great--can't get enough of them already. (Need more pics. Must have pics.) So much for getting alot of work done on my computer. Oh, well.
Now I'm really interested to see some more examples of the options you guys mentioned. (Thanx for the engine pic LoW_Key.) I'm thinking if I go with a fuschia paint job I could probably coordinate with the engine and matching interior in a complimentary color. I'm not too much of a bubble gum pink type of girl, but there's something to be said for a rich, deep color with a glossy topcoat and a hint of silver flecks.
I'm looking at possibly 15's to 17's (at the most); with a 5-star design for the rims and tires. (I like the muscle car look) How big can I go?

Welcome to the Forum! Yes, this place is rather addictive. An LT1, LS1 or LS2 all refer to the last three versions of GM's corporate V8 small block engines.
Have fun!

Hi there, I'm far from a babe, but I am a girl and I do love my Fiero's. I have an 88 Formula and my hubby (84 SupperDuty) has an 88 T-top GT.
Sounds like you have some great plans for your car, when you get it that is. I'd love to do more to mine. My husband recently added the new chip, ceramic coated headers and crossover pipe, 160 thermostat and fan switch and a new K&N air cleaner to my stock engine. I guess when there's more money, more changes will be made. The Fiero Store has lots of stuff for the Fiero (hence the name ) And you can click on the links at the top of the page for other Fiero related stuff.
Welcome to the forum. You'll love it here. Try e-bay for finding a car, there is usually a bunch on there.
Here is a picture of our cars. The black one is my 20 year old daughters. It just got totalled, some idiot blew through a stop sign and she couldn't stop in time.

Hi Dar, I haven't seen many pics of your Fieros. Most of the members will agree that you're the No. 1 Babe here on Pennocks but pics of your Formula would help to know. You're a positive, helpful, active member that even does some of her own work and thats very rare. Kudos to you! That's a great photo of your three Fieros. marty

************************************************************************************ Mistress, Just a little clarification. Low Key was prolly referring to The ET's (elapsed times) for the 1/4 mile when he asked "What are you looking for 14's? 13's? 12's?

She must be a dumb blonde. LOL, if shes looking for 17's she's gonna have to detune the 2.8 a little, I think she should be the first ever with a Iron Duke GT.

I've been checking out the posts and I wanted to know if there are any other Babes on the forum?
We are out there, not in very large numbers, but we are out there. Needless to say, ... Welcome. Ahh, and ... what took you so long.

Guess it depends... how much $$$ you got to dump in to it and or be willing to learn what makes these cars tick. My advice ... get yourself a mechanically sound car and start with some small cosmetic changes and just go from there. These cars have this uncanny ability to suck your checkbook dry and soon you will be confronted with the decision whether to get the new pair of shoes for yourself (Anybody knowing me knows about me and my shoe addiction ) or ones for your car. Feel free to substitute whatever is on the top of the list for you yourself and new thing for the car. Now on to the good news ... (and guys don't take this the wrong way) but girls in general are way better in coordinating colors and have a better understanding on what goes to get her and what looks just plain gaudy. ( Why on earth do I suddenly have this urge to run to the closet, only to return with flame suit in hand. Weird.)
Anyways ... you go girl. Ask a lot of questions. (There's some great knowledgeable guys on this board more than willing to help fellow fanatics out) Don't worry about the extra parts when you are done bolting things back on, you eventually find a place for them. And go for the high end "no chip" nail polish from now on, it pays off in the long run.
Tina
Almost forgot.

I have always been happy with my 2.8 4 speed, it is a very fun car to drive. New suspension and a new motor don’t hurt. Its not a drag car, I like the way it handles the curves. I do have an 86 GT 5 speed that I’m putting a V8 in but not because I don’t like the 2.8 I just always liked the feel and sound of a V8 motor. Plus I got a great deal on the motor and kit. Welcome to the Club, don’t take too much to heart when the wolves come out it’s a guy thing.
