****Edit, I meant 4.9L caddy v8****

Good to be back, I have a semi-sob story & job offer for anyone in the Greenbay area.
About a year and a half ago I contacted a man on Pennocks under the screenname fiero1979. He seemed like a stand-up guy who knew his stuff and worked in a garage, he duped me into accepting his offer of installing a 4.9 v8 into my baby (1984 w/an 87 2.8 installed), with the only payment being the current motor out of my fiero. Well he got the motor out of my car, installed it in his fiero and then went to jail. He's been locked up for a year & I'm tired of waiting. The landlord of his residence contacted me today and told me to get the car out of there.
If anyone in the Greenbay area can help me out, I would pay you & I can offer some cool parts that I have. I'm in Illinois, I previously ran Worldwide Fiero Links & was semi-well known for hosting two successful Fiero shows here in my hometown of El Paso. I have some cool parts like a nice spoiler, 4" custom made brushed aluminum wing stantions & a custom made 8" subwoofer box that mounts flush with the dashboard, I'd be willing to throw in a few of them in addition to the payment. There is a slight possibility, if I can contact the gentleman's wife, that I could offer an '88 formula with a rockin 2.8 as payment, although I haven't been able to find here lately. She had mentioned a while ago that the car was mine if I wanted it, I told her that if the title was also part of the deal I'd take her up on it, no response yet :P

I'll provide funds for whatever parts are needed, in Greenbay I already have a nice 4.9L Cadillac v8 out of a Allante & a full set of gaskets.
The car is sitting with the motor gone, the rear wheels & various suspension parts are removed & the tranny could possibly be apart as well.
If you have any ideas or assistance that you could bless me with I'd appreciate it to no end.

Unfortunately I have only a couple of weeks to line this up, otherwise the car will be "towed", how that would be possible in its current state I shudder to imagine.
Thanks a million,
Michael Schaefer

Heres the car, it truely is my babe

Sorry,

Delaware is right. They are in Indiana. Still not too far for what you get!

Thanks for the help, I went to his site, but there doesn't seem to be any contact info. I'll drop his webmaster an email and try to get ahold of him.

I might be able to help out with transportation if the timing is right. I have a full car trailer and if the car is rollable, I can get it up on the deck and haul it out of there.

Mike and Mark, you both have PM's. I can help you out if you need it. I am pretty good at moving large objects, but I think this time I am staying OFF the trailer as my leg wound from last time hasn't healed yet....lol. Mike, when you go to retrieve your car make sure you have your title with you.

Let me know what you guys decide.

Kelin
