for me, its the ones like these i see all the time in the mall. rarely do they have pictures or replies.
"considering the possibly of thinking about selling my car"
and my personal favorite
" i might buy this desireable item to sell to someone else on the forum, but need to know if anyone is interested and how much they think it is worth so i can calculate how much profit i can make off of this part whos location i keep secret because i can probably buy it for $1.99
are these not amung the lamest repeating posts in the mall? or is it just me.

Posts that only say how they agree with everyone else. And all of the above stuff too.

I mean, dang, who really cares about seeing a pic of every bolt and nut removed and every thought posted that an individual has about a Fiero.
Solution: Don’t click on it...saves me the hassle of trying to sift through the BS in hopes of trying to glean some useful information, to which there is none, and it saves Cliff the bandwidth cost. ( Trying to do my part! )

Anything posted in Genral FIERO, but has nothing to do with Fieros, (cough)this one(cough)
Mainly the ones that post crap as a subject line, IE "what do you think of this" "how bout this" The subject should say what its about. Not be like "Fiero question" duh or the "hey everyone look at me" type I understand posting what you do/have done or what you use to do it, but not like "look at the autozone brake pads I got , what do you think", like the diary posts.

Worst to me are threads with no info in the title to have a clue of what they are about. Examples;
"Look at this" - at what? "Help me" - to do what? "This is it" -What is it? "How can I fix this" - fix what? "Question" - What question? "Att <name here>" - For what? "I saw a car" - And so what? "Thanks <name here>!" - for what?
Add the thing on the right and it will help on searches and also to get attention to someone who knows about it.
I guess sardonyx247 typed faster than me

Even funnier, is when you try to help by posting some thought-out and (hopefully) reasonably sound advice, and everybody ignores what you have posted, and reposts it in segments later on ,as if it was their idea in the first place !! Very flattering, actually...I must have made SOME sense!!!! !!!! fierofetish

Threads that in some way, whether directly or indirectly, promote any kind of racism... Threads that contain the same pics that the same person has posted in 4 other threads...(this year's daytona pics for example) Threads posted from emails, when half the world received the email last year and remember it clearly.... "Why is my bar so red??" threads.....i hate those the most, even if it isn't a cheap ploy to get a few pity pluses...who cares? can you not still post? can u not still sleep at night? Political threads posted with intentions of remaining a civil conversation....um, what r u stupid?

Interesting question. There are many things in life as in Pennock's that any one of us may find annoying-----and we have the right to be annoyed by anything we choose. As Pennock's goes some of the things you guys have listed as annoying are funny-you-have-to-be-on-Pennock's-to-understand-funny (something we all get a laugh at, even the "violators"), while others are people who by sharing moments in their lives have some way annoyed you. These people who may have taken considerable time and effort to share with our Fiero community in the best way they can have nonetheless, annoyed you. However, although they may have annoyed you, even if they did not intend to (and again it is your right to be annoyed by anything at all) they have not insulted you. Attacking someone's efforts, by most standards, would be considered insulting. It is OK to be annoyed, but we don't have to insult others while expressing it......especially to a person who has not and has no intention of insulting you. Just something to thing about.

Saw a beautiful Fiero? Got passed by a Fiero which was doing at least 200mph? You like this messageboard so much you just have to tell everyone?
I would classify this thread under "You like this messageboard so much you just have to tell everyone"... PFF related topics would be Fiero related, imo.

Quotes without editing text/deleting pics so they don't get posted again in the same thread....waste of Cliff's bandwidth. People who whine whine whine more than once in the same thread....oops

along with those previously brought to the surface... multiple threads on the same topic... started on the same day. This usually happens when there was a big news article, ie. Terri Schiavo, the tsunami, the pope's death or the two little girls who were *murdered*.
also. I don't really like it when people misuse "they're, their and there", or "it's and its". It just bugs the crud out of me.

I've got zero problem with people posting threads documenting every nut and bolt of a repair/modification... it can very well help someone else later on.
Racists posts suck. Religous posts by people that let the preachers do their thinking for them and haven't ever read a book including the one they quote suck. Political posts where people spew talking points they heard on talk radio or tv suck. Posts where they mix the two in an attempt to show they are morally superior suck even worse. Posts where facts just get in the way suck. Posts where people repeat themselves suck. Posts where people repeat themselves suck. Posts where people repeat themselves suck.

Things that annoy me and how they ought to be dealt with...
Holding of uninformed opinions on or making unsubstantiated pronouncements regarding technical subjects - correct the uninformed opinion, point out the flaws in the unsubstantiated pronouncement.
Tooth and nail defense of uninformed opinions on or unsubstantiated pronouncements regarding technical subjects - open up a can... of very dense technical jargon
Uninformative subject lines - don't read thread
Typos, spelling mistakes or grammar errors by people whose first language is English - go back to frickin' grade school for crying out loud. Proof read your posts. There is absolutely no excuse for spelling errors - www.dictionary.com
Thin skinned people who think I'm insulting them and react as though I trampled on their sister's honor when I told them truthfully that they don't know what they're talking about - a soft (and correct) answer turns away wrath. Water puts out fire, not more fire.

5 threads on the same thing. The Fiero on CSI, for example. Something that big definately caught the attention of other people besides you. Check before you start another thread about it.
Even worse is when all 5 threads keep getting bumped. Just pick one, let the others die.
I hate the threads where when someone is just stating an opinion about something.....someone else comes along and wants to start a flame war just to prove their vast knowledge over the other. I also hate the ones where is someone posts something affirming their religion in the off topic....someone else (sometimes the same types) have to come in there and just crap all over it to a very early death making fun of their religion in the worst possible ways they can think of. Then they expect a pat on the back from the person they were crapping on.
I also hate the endless ego wars known as political threads.
Put your egos aside, stop running others into the ground because you feel threatened, grow up, and by all means....
GET A LIFE!!!

Even more amusing, is when you try to assist by posting some thought-out and (hopefully) reasonably intuitive insight, and the masses ignore what you have posted, and plagerizes it in segments further on, as if it was their idea in the 1st place!! Very flattering, actually...I must have made SOME sense!!!! !!!!

It isn't you that I find offensive, it's what you choose to call yourself.
You may be the nicest guy in the world, but I ignore any thread started by anyone who can't find anything to call themselves but {insert offensive screen name here}. If he starts a thread & I see the name, I think to myself that he needs more help than I can give him & I just walk on by.
