Found this on the Weather Channel website:

"Homestead, Fla., resident Sonia Negron inspects vehicles Friday in the driveway of her home after Hurricane Katrina dumped heavy rain throughout South Florida. Negron's home had 4 inches of water in it following the hurricane's landfall"

Hope the folks in Louisiana, Mississippi, and Alabama fare better...

That's not bad at all. I had my red car flooded like that in a 45min down pour. It was parked in the corner of a street where the drain was. When I came back water level was only about 1ft but when I sat down the seat was like a sponge fill of water. I started it up and home I went. Only damage was the alarm module. If it is not salt water it should be fine.
