Over the last couple of weeks I’ve been going nuts on asking questions about Formula’s
Well, today after working on this deal for over 2 months, I brought it home

White Hardtop w/beechwood interior, auto, tilt, cruise, AC (134a) Wing, WS Delay
ALL STOCK… 75k miles on it

I’m the third owner. The car is originally from Lakeland Fl. via Appleton Wi. And now making its home in
Sussex Wi.

It has absolutely no rust on it, the trunk/frame rails “LOL” look new. The interior is a 9.0 only because the
passenger side dash vent has a small crack in it. The carpets are new looking as are the seats.
The gauge pod has just a “smidge” of warping, and the center console has just a touch also.
Everything works on it, cruise, air….etc!!

The car was in Lakeland until 1998, then it went to the Appleton Wi. area (not driven in the winter)

The 2nd owner only put 7k miles on it in 7 yrs. And hasn't driven it at all for 2 1/2 years other then
starting it and moving up and down his driveway.

Any parts that needed replacing were only replaced with GM parts. and it has new tires less then 2k ago.

It does need new dew strips (which he included with the car) and after the 100 mile ride home today,
I did feel a little vibration in the front end. When I got home I did a quick check on the front end.
It’s either a inner/outer tie rod, or might be a bad lower ball joint or all three ?? I’ll have to look more.

A odd thing happened on the ride home. The whole trip home the car shifted fine,
then, after getting off the freeway the transmission lockup solenoid stopped working. I had to pull over
an un-plug it the last 5-6 miles…..one more thing to fix…….

Anyway!! enough babbling …….here are a few pictures after a quick wash. The car has no wax on it at all.
I want to clay it first.

Very nice!

Did I forget to say very nice? That looks like a new car!

The solenoid doesn't surprise me at all. Mine started sticking after my car sat for a while.

Glad you finally brought it home. Congrats!

Post some more pics of the interior!

Looks nice. Too bad it doesn't have a sunroof. Not a deal breaker, but I love my sunroof. (easy enough to add a factory one later, if you so desire)

That is GREAT!!!!!!!!! It looks perfect!!! You're lucky! I have had an 84 for 16 years and remember the feeling I had when I brought that home. Last year I bought an 88GT with 43K on it and I had the same feeling again. I know exactly how you feel!!! Good luck and enjoy!!!!

I really debated the sunroof thing…..but having my convertible vette & a sunroof GT, I actually didn’t mind
getting a hardtop. I think it’s a little unique.

I couple of years back, I was talking with a guy that bought a Z06
Corvette, and I asked him why he wanted a hardtop instead of a convertible or T-top….
he said, ride in one. "you’ll know!”

And like you said, I can always change to sunroof if I’d like…….

Here’s a picture of the interior that I had taken about 2 months ago before I bought the car.
I should be able to take more this weekend……….Thanks

Very nice. My favorite Fiero is the Formula, although any aero notchback's a close second. Good luck with her..
