Today I started the process of installing AusFiero's side scoops, recently arrived from Australia.

I usually get tired of seeing people customize their Fieros by cutting holes & putting all sorts of scoops & vents everywhere. I prefer the cleaner original lines but I must admit, Aus's kit is a very nicely integrated mod. It flows with the whole car and looks like it belongs there.
Got me thinking about my own project car...

Wow, your car gets sweeter by the week!!! All the parts on it just work so well together. The scoops will too! (And Aus, if you look really hard, maybe squint a little, you can see your scoop on my car in my sig! LOL)

If it wasn't it wouldn't have a place on my Fiero!

Since my Stage 2 install is going nowhere due to lack of time right now, I at least made a photoshop before/after to motivate myself. It'll be worth it, I'd say:
I think the Stage 2's pick up the line of the 355 nose very well....

I agree. It matches the front side nose-lines and even the back bumper too.

I'm busy with work and my parents in law were visiting, so no time. But I'll change jobs soon and will have 3 months off in between (on full pay :-) That will be the time for everything to come together...

Actually, I was thinking to add a engine window a la Skitime and leave the deck as is otherwise but I'm curious how such a lip spoiler will look. Have a photoshop?

Wow yellowstone, your car is looking great. You are right about the color being "the best fiero color in the world" I built a cowl hood for my yellow car but It created such a blind spot, and I did not like the way it followed the windshield, so I never finished it. I might take one of my extra hoods and do an "extractor hood" on it instead.

Me too! I feel kinda proud now It will look even better with the mesh in place. btw your interaction made the original scoop better too, so thank you too!

Finished passenger side today. Took a little longer as I had to cut all the holes, fasten the mesh and also replaced the door hinge pin while I was at it...
