My block or head is cracked in my SE. Guess it froze last night and or over heated this morning.
I was letting it warm up and it got hot and has water in the oil.

I cant believe this crap, this is the third car that the motor is shot in the last 2 months. Bad thing about it is this was the car I drive to work. I have a lot of time and money in it and will move the good parts I need to my other car and sell the rest.

Im just too pissed off at myself to make a list right now.

This is the SE I had wrecked back in February of last year. I rebuilt the front and back end using parts from several cars. The reason I rebuilt it was the motor only had 20000 miles on it and I have some new parts installed as well. Mostly I rebuilt it because of the motor.
Now its still a nice car but it needs work, the front hood needs replaced and it needs painted. The car has 160000 miles on it and I just don’t have the energy to replace the motor.

I have been working on my GT and have it down to small stuff before I can start driving it, the biggest thing I needed was a radiator, well one just became available.
I have been through a lot of car problems in the past 2 months. To put it in perspective we own 6 cars and only one of them is drivable.

86 Dodge 600: bad radiator, radiator fan and blown head gasket
95 Grand Am: something wrong with the tranny and a bad head gasket
84 Fiero: Parts Car
86 SE Fiero: water in the oil probably a cracked block from getting too cold.
86 GT Fiero: in the middle of a V8 swap (soon to be my daily driver)
96 Saturn wagon: in great shape and is running fine

I just don’t have the mental state to rebuild it again. I just don’t have it in me to do it again so soon, if it wasn’t for the other problems I wouldn’t think twice about dropping a 3.4 in it and being done with it. I just need to get past this and move on.
I will post in the mall after I have had a chance to calm down.

Sorry to hear of your troubles.
It must be the month for this kind of problem.
It happened to my daughters SE too, water in the oil.
It's her daily driver and we are scrambling to get a new engine in it before my husband heads to Iraq at the end of this month.

Just wanted to let you know that you aren't the only one. Not that that makes you feel any better.
Hope things go better for you!!

When life craps on you just plant flowers.
I have enjoyed driving this car more than any other car but its time to let it go. Thanks for the good Karma I can feel it setting in now
I wont be posting any parts for sale till after spring. I have too many other things to do and need to get rid of some other broken cars first.
Heck you never know what will fall in your lap, I only paid $600 for the car and probably only have $800 more in it. I wont talk bad about the car it has been a very dependable car, its my fault for not adding more anti freeze yesterday.
I drained all of the water out of the hot rod last night and didnt even give the SE another thought. Well it has my attention today.
It wont die in vain, my GT needs new bushings and ball joints so I will swap them off of the SE as I just rebuilt the front end last year. What I dont use I will post in the mall.

Here are some links that show what I have been threw with the car.

Ouch and oh $hit. I have an 86 GT with a busted radiator. 120K on the motor and it runs good. Or maybe did. I do not drive it, just start and run it every once in awhile. I have been adding water to compensate for the busted radiator.
I don't feel so good.

Same thing here, I had to replace a hose and cracked over flow container. I just added water to it over time. It still had color to it but it was very cold out this morning.
