LOL calm down, Allen, they probably just left Truckee. Its a 4 hour drive at least back to Hayward, plus unpack and upload time. There will be pics, don't worry. Good things come to those who wait.

as a matter of a fact we did feel the earthquake. Chris S. had just jumped off goobz trailer and when he hit the ground the quake started. LOL... kinda ironic. we were all loading up when it happened.

Im about 3 1/2 hours from truckee. I would have gone but i only found out about it recently and had to work. Maybe next year =)
Random Fun Fact: Driving with my friend last night he admitted he had never been in a car doing over 100mph before, so I hopped on the freeway and took my 4spd GT all the way to 120. He was like faster faster! lol

OOOOkkkkayyyy Where are the pics? Why start a thread hours before you actually post anything?
So that people can talk about the show?
We're still in Truckee. After we got back from the drive, we had to clean and pack up the conference room, load everything up and head out. We're at my sister-in-laws for dinner. We'll be home around 10 or 11. I don't know if I'll get the pictures up tonight, but tomorrow I'm going to take the day off, rest and recover from this weekend. We worked pretty hard.
I must have around 300 pictures to go through. I'll also find a way to upload the video of the Regulators (old west guys). That was funny stuff. So bear with me (pun intended), I'll get 'em posted.

5.2 earthquake around the Lake Tahoe area at 11:45 this morning.
No, we had just started the drive to Tahoe. My sister-in-law called my cell and asked "DID YOU FEEL THAT???". I said "no, what happened". She said "a BIG earthquake!!!". No reports of damage or injuries. It was a 4.8, 8 miles east of Truckee.

Thank You John and Mary for putting on a great show! Everyone was so nice and friendly. Enjoyed the award ceremonies and raffles and the famouse margarita machine! The cars were just fantastic.....enjoyed looking at every one of them.
By the way, you want to hear something weird? My car ran flawlessly all weekend......not even an engine cough or burp. Well, that is until I got all the way back to Redwood City. (to see my mom at Kaiser) Just as I was pulling ito the parking garage, the serpentine belt started to squeal and the "Volts" light came on and stayed on. After popping the decklid, I found out the bottom bolt on the alternator was not loose at all....it was totally missing! The alternator was just sort of hanging there, rocking back and forth freely.
So my car is sitting in a Kaiser Garage in Redwood City right now. My sis gave me a ride home last night. (thanks Kerry!) Tommorow morning I will go back and try to fix it enough to get it home......

Looks like we have two treads running for this event. Goober started one already. I posted some pictures there. I just saw this tread just a while ago.
Thanks again John and Mary for a job well done......you guys are good people!!!
We had a great time, thank you everyone who helped to make this happen, and to all who attended. I will post some of the pics I took tomorrow morning.
I guess I won't be posting about that sharp looking fiero I saw in the Kaiser parking lot.
Hope you get it fixed, I will pm you my number incase you need any help while your here. (I am only a few blocks away).
Strangely enough once we came off the 101 Freeway with Kit in Redwood City, we saw a silver notchie with "fiero gt" on the back of it. (it wasn't with us) and I have never seen this one in town before.

Update: I got my car home. (from Redwood City) Turns out the bolt under the bottom of the alternator (the one that adjusts your belt tension) SNAPPED OFF in the alternator housing ear. I ended up putting a long bolt, washer and nut behind the ear. It now has sufficent enough belt tension to drive it anywhere but Im going to use this opportunity to upgrade to a higher amperage (and smaller) alternator.

Well, Paul and Kit weren’t the onliest ones to have trouble on the way out. I’m still trying to decide if I was unlucky or actually quite lucky. On the way to the Inn Friday night I noticed as I got almost there that my clutch pedal was getting a bit mushy. But I was still able to change gears just fine so I just chalked it up to the altitude and a tired left leg. Then on Sunday as I was pulling out of my parking space two funny things happened. The first was that some joker that may have been pulling my leg asked if my car was a Ferrari. Lol! The second was that my clutch’s contact point had clearly moved from its normal top of the pedal travel to just off of the carpet. If common sense had ruled I’d have stopped right there and investigated, but oh no, I just had to continue on. Well, I didn’t get far before it was almost impossible to shift gears. By this time I was on the freeway and realizing that I wasn’t going to make it home without fixing something. So, I pulled off at the first exit thinking that it was the one that I remembered as having a 76 station. Not even close, that one was two more exits down. So I got as far as the stop sign at the bottom of the ramp and that was it. It wouldn’t shift into any gear. I put on the parking brake and the flashers and got out. I no sooner than got the front hood open and the cap off of the clutch master cylinder when the local constabulary pulled up behind me. I just got to peer into the reservoir long enough to find a small puddle of what looked like chocolate moose where the hydraulic fluid was supposed to be when a really nice guy by the name of Brenton Schneider stepped out and greeted me. This guy’s timing was only exceeded buy his helpfulness. He pushed me off of the road by hand and then gave me a lift to the local NAPA auto parts store that was literally just around the corner. And it was actually open on Sunday! After returning me to my car with brake fluid in hand, he stuck around while I removed the Moose and replaced it with the new fluid. A few dozen pumps of the pedal later and I had clutch control again! After I thanked him profusely he gave me his card and told me to call if I had any further trouble. The rest of the trip home was nearly perfect except for the need to pump the clutch back up from time to time. It would seem that I now have a trapped air bubble to bleed out. Anyhow, I had the T-Tops off and my bald-head thoroughly greased with SPF 45 so I wouldn’t need to wear a hat. The sky and the temperature were just right for the nearly three hour cruise home. All in all, a pretty cool weekend!

Dang, Marty, glad you were still in the area as opposed to farther away from help and the Fiero gods were with you too when Mr. Schnieider came along. So glad to know you got it fixed and made it home alright.
Great pics, John! Thanks!!

Me too! But its not fixed yet, just bandaided. I'll need to get a helper to pump the pedal while I do the bleeding. I'm off all next week so hopefully I can get my nine-year-old to to help out dear old dad.

The Regulators arrive. They are a local group that does old west reinactments. They also arrest people, and get "bail" from the crowd that helps support the event
Pokey, busted for "killin' horses" (blowing up his engine on Fiero runs)
Goober, busted for "impersonating a French maid"
Collecting bail
In jail, where them critters belong
