Well I bought another fiero. I get to pick it up this weekend.

It is a 86 SE yellow 5 speed.

I don’t have may photos of the car but I will post the photos that I do have.

Gafiero club members. If you can tell me who owned this car before me I will give you a ride in it. Nathan and Kevin you can’t play this game. You guys know who I bought it from.

First a list of what has been done to the car
Purchased 6/2004
New Cat 6/04
Brand new Dew wipes 7/04
Repaint to 88 yellow 7/04
Mr Mikes leather seat rebuild 7/94
Water pump 7/04
New CD player 7/04
New front and pillar speakers 10/04
17/7 gunsmoke rims 12/04
235/40/17 rear and 215/45/17 fnt
7/05 and 12/05
Massive work underneath 7/04
Brakes and rotors front and rear
New OEM springs
CV axle
Left ball joint
Inner tie rods
Left strut replaced
Inner and outer wheel bearings 9/04
120MPH speedo swapped for installed 80 9/04
Steering stabilizer shock 9/04
New rear wing with cleaner mount, new
Gaskets ,wing repaint 2/05
Custom Loyds fiero floor mat 2/05

Rear antiswap bar and new larger front
Sway bar
New battery tray and support
New battery 8/05?
New distributor, pickup coil ,ignition coil 6/05
New/reman AC compressor 5/05
New O2 sensor 9/05
New starter selinoid 11/05
New Fuel pump 11/05
New/reman Rear calipers loaded 2/06
West Coast Fiero chrome dogbone 3/06

Most all the sensors including TPS, IAC, MAT, temp sensor..etc
Many parts from fiero store to restore the inside trim as well

THE NOT SO GOOD

A couple of things I know to be wrong with the car. Annoying really..that’s about it.
 Gas gauge never worked. Entire gauge cluster has been swapped including the gas gauge so it has to be in the sender. I have always used the trip w/little issue
 In an effort to fix the loose steering column many of them develop, we swithed the entire column about 3 months ago. Ever since I have a phantom whip on turning and the turn signal does not turn off by itself.
 Dash itself is in fantastic shape but some warping in the radio and shift surround.
 The paint job looks really nice. There are some chips in the nose and the ground effects are now starting to chip but the rest polishes up great

I will get some more photos of the car when I pick it up this weekend.

Not only do I know who owned it before you, I know who owned it before him.
I may even have some pictures of it, before it was painted.

That's a nice car. He did wonders with it.

LOL. I got some photos before it was painted. I will post them.

Oh, I forgot to add. The head lights go up and down. Unlike my other fiero’s that I have owned.

Sweet. I remember that as the "purple people eater" back when I first joined the club. I thought the purple paint looked nice, and now the yellow looks good as well. I think Skip Gundlach owned it before John? I think I remember John buying that car...is he getting out of Fieros or what?

BTW, good luck with it, it looks like you're getting rid of two "project cars" and getting one that is mostly finished, and in great shape. I just wish I could have snagged your little '88 coupe . Tell me if the guy in Virginia doesn't want it anymore, lol.

John bought a spotless blue 87 GT, the weekend of the Swap Meet. He's certainly not getting out of Fieros that I know of.

Sonic, check the RPO list under the hood. I see that the car has a 5 speed in it. If it's a Getrag...and it's a factory Getrag, not an "owner install", then the car is quite rare. VERY few 86 SE's came from the factory with a Getrag...most of the ones they installed in 86 went into the GT's. I had an 86 SE with a factory Getrag, and have only met a couple of people over the years that also had one.

I can’t wait till I see this car in front of my house. I am so excited right now.

Planes when I get it home. Look at it…. Wash it…… look at it some more……. Clean the inside…….. Look it is some more…… Then I may take it out for a ride.
