I found a 1986 coupe. Six cylinder, 51,000 miles. For some reason I do not know what tranny, must have been another automatic. It has the guage pod above the radio, aka GT guages. Though it did have just an 85mph speedometer. Manual windows/mirrors. Paint is supposed to be fresh but it has years of dust on it. Talk about a perfect interior..... . Perfect seats, not a rip or burn. GT style seats. Perfect dash, even on both knee bangers. The GT guages. No warpage on the console glove box, the shift surround, or the GT guage surround. The carpet and mats are excelent. The best part....Beechwood. VIN #.......1G2PF3799GP278243. If someone decodes the VIN #, be a sport and post the info here.

$2500.00. A classic case of "they think it's worth more than it is". I am sure it can be had for a lot cheaper though. For one, the keys are lost. Hard to sell a car you can't start up and drive for that kind of money. I can see offering $1500.00 if I can drive it. I doubt anyone else can find it unless they "show" it. Let them sit on a reasonable offer, or even a lowball offer and see what happens. I so want that interior.

My wife's GT came out of a simular situation, but it would run. The rear brake calipers were bad and had to be replaced. But it had been run once a year for 8 years when they had to get it out of the barn during haying season. I had to clean out several mouse nests, though they didn't do any permanent damage. Once cleaned up it became a very nice, low mile, wing delete, 86 GT. Interior was perfect, exterior paint needs some attention but still looks good. They were going to put it on ebay with hopes of getting $3500 to $4500. She offered them $3000 and they accepted.
That would be a tan interior , not beechwood. Beechwood only came in the 88 models. Sounds like it would be a nice car. Did you say what color exterior it is? If you can pick it up for 1500 , it's probably worth that.

Hmmm.......I did not know that. I thought they were all Beechwood and rare. How rare is tan? Gosh, I would like to see the colors side by side. Can anyone post a sample? EDIT

With the dust layers and being inside, I am not sure. I think black.
