Alright, Ive made one. And though it took a long time it was nice when finished. now that ive started building an Artero ive wanted to do another, but the first style just dont fit the lines of the artero in my opinion so im trying a more modern styled version. Much like GTRwideboby's
heres my first one that took allmost 60 hours to complete
And now the "GTR" styled project that im only a hour into!
this project is going much much smoother then that last one.

more picture updates. started glassing. im only two and a half hours into this hood and its already looking much more profesinal then my first one. here are some pictures from about 20 minuites ago.
alright, I have the bottom side glassing done. now its time for me to try that sleep thing out.. But for a project that a started at 11 this morning and getting this far working on and off with only about four hours into it seems to be going smoothly. well if i get some more resin tommorow ill get the top side glassed and maybe have enough time to spread a little putty..

A very interesting and creative idea, worth investigating. I can see folks taking your idea and massaging it to their own taste. Very interesting. I like it. Thanks and a + for sharing. We need more folks that will share their ideas, processes and photos. ------------------ Ron Freedom isn't Free, it's paid for with the blood and dreams of those that have gone before us. My imagination is the only limiting factor to my Fiero. Well, there is that money issue.

I thought your first one was good but this one is really nice. Great progress too, keep going.
On a side note, those night time shots reminded me of a former members pictures. He was all about smooothing his GT when he wasn't tossing miscreants in the lake. It wasn't your car just the general look of your work area at night. I kinda miss the other guy. I hope he is doing okay.

thanks for the replys, and the +'s thats always powerful motivation to keep posting projects. well i have it sitting on the car and took some pictures but since my computer crashed last night i havent reinstalled my cameras software and resizer. ill try to get some up tonight after i get some more progress made. I want to get the top glassed so i can mud it and cut the vent ovals. then ill just have to put it in slick sand and start blocking her till it ready for paint.
Very nice! I have got to learn to glass so I can do stuff like that...
There's things I would even do to my Stang - no one in the Mustang world that I know of is doing things like this...but maybe that's 'cause they go out & buy whatever they want to put on their car.

well i got the camera to upload. so heres some pictures of the hood as it is now. I had a chance to mount it on the car and check for clearence. after some triming of the center bulkhead (see in pics) it fits. well here she is. now i just hav to get the top side glassed and mudded.
I like the angle of the hood vent. It's "tweeked" and different.
Yes, me too. But then I'm like why's he working on a Fiero when he's got an Artero project, then I'm like ohhhh (at the end there.) CHekc your math, five hours into it from 11 am and it's dark already? That'd mean it gets dark at 4:00 in Chicago? In Denver it doesn't get dark until 8:00? Unless you meant you only spent 5 hours of the day actually working on it...

thats what i meant. I spent the entire day and night working on the car. just 5 hours into the hood. I alternate between projects, when one is curing or waiting for parts i go to the other. helps to keep from getting burnt out too.

no progress today. im out of spending money and its 110 degrees out right now.
i lied. i got motivated enough to do the one T/A fender vent.( see thread) then i moved on to this. I cant go any farther towards to front till i get some resin so it looks like this is as far its its coming for a while.
