I was wondering if anyone has any pics of the IMSA Standard Notchback body kit, i have seen the GT notchback and the Fastback one, and alot of homemade widebodies, but have not seen and pics of the IMSA Standard Notchback that i know of. Fiero Warehouse has a pic on the site but it appears to be an actual racecar, just wondering if anyone has one in an actual street legal vehicle. Here is the pic off Fiero Warehouse's site:

Thanks jeffndebrus, isnt yours is the GT notchback? Nice car. I was more interested in seeing the Standard notchback though, thanks for the reply though.

I don't have a scanner to show it but there was a Fiero just like the one above with the non GT nose. It was built in late 83 or early 84.

This car and Supercharged's DGP prototype Wide body are the only ones I have ever seen with the standard nose. The rest of the kit is just the same notch back wide body with the aero nose.

I own the builders first street version and personal car. It was the Stage 1 then Stage 2 as seen below. Diversified Glass Products { Robert Birchmeire } built all of the body panels for all of the racers up until around 1988 at which time he sold the equiptment off. Hope this helps. SC

Thanks SuperchargedV6, do you know if the kit from the Fiero Warehouse looks just like that one, or are their some slight differences, i am mostly curious about what the front looks like, cause the front of that racecar looks wicked!!

Doug at the Fierowarehouse is still making panels from the exact molds this one was made from. From what I understand it still has the DGP fender markings like the ones on mine below. Color means everything on these and two tones show off more where as solid colors can be deceiving on looks sometimes.
October 1984 Car Craft has one they built right after this one and it is destroyed and gone now. They were in the shop together. Maybe someone should copy that car as it was really neat. SC
