Just wondering if anyone has one of these in their fiero ,I ordered one a couple months ago and if finally showed up ,not sure if i like it .
wondering if their is going to be enough room for a woofer with a good low bass sound .they say.60cubic ft,so i think a square kicker would look nice and sound right.
I got it uncovered ,thinking i good put cup holer in it .

bare in mind that a cup holder may take away from the cubic inches necessary to have the speaker function properly, also - I'm not completely sold on square subs so you may want to do a little research

Kicker CVR10 with an alpine monoblock amp. Sounds really good to me. Did you buy it withough upholstery?

I did, and I learned why it costs an extra $150 to get it pre-upholstered. It was a pain. I can tell you how I did it though if you want.

yes ,i bought it unupolstered,I have a freind that awn a shop i was going to have cover it ,I was plan on putting the cup holders right behind the power window switchs ,so their will be no lose or air space for the woofer .
I have a 12" square kicker and am very happy with it ,and it's only in about .60 cubic ft of space ,so im shure a 8" or 10" should sound good in the same space.
I like the way your look squisher ,do you have it mounted somehow ,or is it heavy enough not to worry about that.
I saw were some one had add the hole shift plate with ashtray to the console (i was planning the same ,buy cutting room for the asytray to mount in as well as the shift boot pins).

a Bazooke EL series is perfect at .6 cu/ft and will not break the bank and you can opt for water cooling and just buy a 400watt single channel or two and just bridge it. It is going to sound AWSOME and will not hurt your charging system and make the lights dim ( I could watch the voltmeter go down when my dual 8" box kicked before the CS upgrade).

I want to mount it somehow, but I've been busy with other stuff. For now it's just sitting in there. It's actually wedged in pretty good, so it really doesn't move much.

Cupholders behind the window switch would bother me while changing gears, but if you've got an auto it won't be a big deal for you.

Also, before you go cutting it off to fit the factory shift surround, check and make sure that it fits over the end, I don't think it will. I guess you could just have them butted against each other, but I don't know how well things will stay aligned like that.

I also still have to devise a method to have the cigarette lighter accessible, as it is now it's tucked underneath so it's unavailable for power accessories (charging a cellphone anyone?)

Too bad you don't live closer, I chould show you exactly how mine sounds...You'd probably like it.
