One more pic.

The gentleman I spoke with on the phone when I ordered it was very helpful with advice on installation.

Nice scoops. Your read deck lid scoop looks like the F355. I took this pic last night. I like how the F355 has the scoop x2 (one sticking out and the other inverted).

Motorhead do you have any pics of the modifications to the sheetmetal that has to be cut for the hood scoop? Did you lose much space and can you still store the spare tire and roof glass the same as before?

Naturally the original weatherstripping is too short to fit after cutting the sheet metal. Note the gap after cutting the metal and installing the original gasket. I believe the sheet metal cut was about an inch.
This images is larger than 102400 bytes. Click to view.
I bought another front weather strip to fill the gap. Cheap on E-Bay.
I'll take a pic of the sheet metal cut this week. I'll probably have to adjust a bit. Everything, spare, jack, etc. will fit fine.
I'm working on the rear deck inside right now. Brrrr! But will be outside again soon.

Seems to me that what you have underlined is simple excess and would be trimmed to whatever width you desired, probably going with the "more is more" philosophy.

The scoop does come with an extra wide "flange" that can and should be trimmed down during the install.
Let me know if you need any install advice

Good eye on that F355 scoop David !

I would have never noticed that it was basically inverted and flipped around. Very neat.

THose Driven Visions hood vents are very nice as well. Good choice.

Have they improved the look of their indy scoop? The pic they have posted on their site is not the best looking indy scoop.
