Hey everyone its getting close and well got a few new things added tothis event this year like Saturday FIEROS AND WINE WITH A CRUISE, GROUP GET TOGETHER WITH THOSE WHO WANT TO GET TOGETHER AT THE DECOY RESTRUANT @ 6pm for dinner and the occassional fiero chat. I will post more details about the wine tour in the afternoon on saturday as I get all the info. Plan on visiting a few winery's On the web site I believe there is a link to what winery's are around the area. Sunday is the big day with breakfast @ chefs diner in the back room reserved for us and then a small fiero show and then we cruise up to the track to turn some laps. then after that might do a cruise of the old original race track and then a free dinner that pizza hut is donating to us free pizza's and you only have to pay for your beverages along with trophies and awards/door prizes. Don't forget all proceeds go to the CMN Childrens miracle network and also maybe discuss some further get togethers at other shows. So please PRE-REGISTER and also if you want a shirt please let us know the size and as of right now the price is still the same. Vin has done an amazing design for the shirts this year and they are one to have for sure I will say. I also want to thank all the sponsors that have donated items or funds to help us along in this event. If anyone would like to be a sponsor please contact me.
Keep an eye on this page as it may be changes www.latuslink.com/fiero/wgf2007 Also any one who wants to volunteer on the day of the event please let me know which I'm hoping to have firefighter be my raffle man but If any women want to maybe they would get more tickets sold since his legs are hairy lol JK Hope to see everyone again and hope it wil be a great time. I'll be there for the Sunday events. Hopefully, I'll be able to drive home without a catastrophic engine failure, LOL. Is anyone bringing a car dolly or a trailer - just in case???!!!
Do NOT attempt this at home:
OR...at the track:
It is very expensive!!! Boomer

Hey AC, are we supposed to go to the Senica Lake Winery Association site and "buy tickets" ? Also how do we sign up for "the bus" ? My wife and I both want to sample some wine, so I'd rather not drive. Unless you really can get us the "Police Escort" you mentioned......
I did do the register thing and put in my shirt order. I didn't get any kind of confirmation that it worked though.

Can't wait for the wonderful weekend in New York!
Kerry & Korey
You are in, actually your in twice. Let me know if you meant to register twice, or if I should delete one.
I wondered because I tried to register, and got some strange "error string length too long" message or something. So I re- entered it because I didn't know if it actually sent anything when it errored out.
I can only attend ONCE but my wife will be with me so there will be two of us. Only one Fiero though. I know it sounds unusual...... ......owning only ONE of these fine treasures! LOL
Thanks for letting me know I'm registered! Kerry

OK, OK, inspite of AC insulting my legs, I'll sell the 50/50 and raffle tickets this year too. But this year someone else has to drive behind Boomer. When Boomer had his engine trouble last year, coming off the first turn, as Boomer pulled off the course I braked as though I was stopping to help him and almost got rear ended by a Corvette. I forgot for a second where I was and that stopping was not a great idea. See you guys and gals. Ed

Well on the wine tour if you register you can attend all of them for the 2 day event but I'm only going to a few here and there. If you sign up for the wine tour tickets I believe you get something at each winery's but you don't have to get tickets there. We should have no problem getting to the winery's lol And if we need someone to bus some people around I just need to know in advance as my dad and or I could bring extra vehicles to sit multiple peeps. Also boomer you going to beable to joi us for dinner on saturday at the decoy. I will have all the winery info finished up hopefully tomorrow night. Yes vin you could give them a preview of the shirt no problem. Cmon on ed I'm sure someone liked your legs lol maybe you could lead it this year hehe I'll bring up the tail end.

I am pretty sure I am going just not in the Fiero.I don't think it will be ready for a long trip like that so I am going to drive my van.I can fit 6 people in it if you end up needing another DD seeing I don't drink.
For those who're familiar with the Watkins Glen race track, my daddy called me yesterday to let me know that the Glen Club burned down Tuesday night. He lives in Lowman but frequents the track during the race season.

Glad your comming.

Hi! I was out looking for a B&B for Korey and I that weekend and clicked on the Yahoo "review" page for the the Glen Motor in. Most of them were alot like what I'm going to quote here. It sounds like they could use a bit of a freshen up of the place.
Cut from Yahoo review page. NOT MY review as I have never been there.
Last Visit:August 2006The location is excellent. The service was great. The food was great. But we (there was four of us)will never stay there again. The rooms were uwful! It looked as though it was never updated. The carpet was disgusting. It was thin as paper, stained, and rolled! I don't think it was ever replaced. There was no place to hang your towels in the bathroom. No towel racks! There was no place to sit in the room unless you felt like sitting on the bed. The balcony was cracked and slanted. We wondered if it was going to stay together. After our stay we looked for another nearby hotel. Not again!! Look around folks, there is alot better places to stay. For the rates you pay it should be updated.

Okay, here is the sneak peak. We are looking at a full front and back image again this year. This is the front, for those that don't know, the car on the left is the Spice Fiero race car.
Gordo and I will be there on Saturday. Just completed the "pre-registration", the check is in the mail, and you know I've gotta have a shirt, AC!
Regarding volunteering to help the day of the show, I would be more than happy to help. However, two things MUST BE UNDERSTOOD:
1. I'm a follower, NOT a leader. You COMMUNICATE specifically what you need done, and IT WILL be done.
2. You stated that a woman volunteer might get more tickets sold in lieu of Firefighter due to his hairy legs. I am a woman (last time we checked), but I must add a disclaimer that if the hairy leg thing is a prerequisite to volunteering, I CANNOT GUARANTEE that I will be able to fulfill this requirement. I WILL GUARANTEE, however, that I WILL NOT EXPOSE MY LEGS for public viewing.
Joking aside, if you need help, let me know.

Wow! It looks like we picked a good location. Just a lucky dart throw, but yes I'd say we did well.
OK, I registered, but do I need to send any money ahead of time for anything? The track drive, show registration, tee shirt? If so let me know & I'll get it done.
Thanks! Kerry

I tried doing this last year, but it slipped down at the last second, and I ended up getting a video of "Watkins Glenn as seen through the eyes of a four year old sitting in the passenger side seat"
Have fun!
