Its that time of year again. Yep the HUGE Arlington Fiero Picnic is coming up quicker than you can believe. June 2nd 2007 is the date set for the show this year. Get your cars cleaned up, Cameras Charged Up and Coolers cleared out.
I have lots of info to go through and lots of things need to be worked out on the website end of it. The site is currently located at
The location is the Arlington Washington Ultralight Airfield. 4796 188th St NE, Arlington, WA 98223 Jet City Fiero's is providing the grounds, and the BBQ's as well as the Crane to take overhead pics of the cars.
You need to bring food and drinks for yourself and your guests. Please leave the booze at home. This is a family event, and we don't want to have to deal with any legal matters drinking booze at an airport on the airfield.
10am till whenever we decide to call it quits, usually around 4pm. This is a great Fiero event, with lots and lots of cars every year.
If you are coming from B.C. or anyplace North of Arlington please visit the above Webpage for details on when and where to meet us and caravan down with us. I need people to email me there name and car(s) so that I can add everyone to the list of attendee's.
If you could also post here if you are coming or not that would be Awesome. I would like us to top 50 Fiero's this year. I know we can do it.
There are a lot more pics from last year, (375 to be exact) however here is a teaser.

I might be there now that I finally have a Fiero that runs . Although it's in good condition mechanically its not very pretty (cracked fender, scratched/flaking paint, etc.) so I may feel kind of out of place.

Well everyone that is going needs to go to the form submital page and send in there info. The event orginizers use that data to base how many people are going to be there. There is no sense in having BBQ's for 150 people if only 50 show up. (I know that won't happen, but we still need to know)

I guess I have no real excuses for not coming out. The Fiero won't be done, though.
Well if you Scylone is on the road, you have to take me for a spin it it. I have always loved the Syclone and Typhoons. I won't have the 85 4.9 car there as I will be in the 88GT.

My name is Jack and I am restoring an 86 GT fastback and I am going to try to make it to this event. I live in southern California and my car is not running yet (well it does run now but is not roadworthy or regesterd yet) I am bringing it back to life from the junkyard.
I have had 3 Fieros so far an 85 Formula V6 4 speed that is now just parts, an 86 GT fastback 5 speed getrag the engine did run so it has the engine and 4 speed trans from the 85 in it because it did run and the getrag needs a rebuild, and a 87 GT fastback auto that was a freebe and the dash and deck lid went to the 86 from that car. I kept the engine bay part of the space frame from the 85 to use as a mock up for bulding a V8 and 6 speed manual trans drivetrain for the 87 GT.
Hope to see you there, Jack

Well if this show has awards I would bet you would get the distance award. Ya know I should not even call it a show. This is a Fiero picnic. A place for people to come and relax and have some fun without all the pressure of having your car perfect for a show.
Its a day single day event running from roughly 10am to 4pm. (people do come early and some stay late however the main gathering is 4-6)
I look forward to seeing everyone there.

New this year, please park in the "V" formation when you arrive (unless you will be running errands). This will make things go a little quicker than in years past. The lift & BBQ are supposed to be picked up @ 3 PM.Then we can do a quick run up Hwy 9 north towards the border.

Looks like I may be able to get up there by about 2:00pm.. Is anybody still going to be there? Unfortunately, I have an engagement in the morning. I'll be leaving Ravena Park in Seattle at about 1:00pm. How long do you think it'll take to get to Arlington from there?
Any idea as to when the picture will be taken?
Hope to see at least a few of you!

If you can make it with out hitting traffic it will take about 45 minutes, and if you leave at one you should avoid most traffic, may get caught up a bit in Everett though, I say around an hr or less.
As much as I would love to see every Fiero Nut come to the show, your prom is once in a lifetime, and there will always be more shows. I say grab your tux, put it in a soft sided bag, hang it from the suit hanger behind/above the seats. Come to the show for a few hours, then take off to the Prom thing. But if you don't have time to do both. There will always be another Fiero show, there won't be another senior prom.
Now as for everything else, unless you have a once in a life time thing going on, you better be there. I am thinking this is going to be the best year so far. The weather is suppose to be awesome. Now "Always Wear Sunscreen"
I was just cramming to get my car done for this, but the girlfriend won't let me take the chance of not getting back in time. O well, there will be other.

Ok, I just gave the Syclone a good scrub down this evening. Didn't have time to give it a good shine job, but it'll do. I should make it. I just don't know what time I'll arrive. I guess whenever I kick my mom out of my house, I guess!
