My friend was driving, and yes he took it REAL easy in the turns, junkyard street tires, super stock suspension (even stock shocks!), and extreme inexperience in racing on a track like that made the turning part a bit hard.
Good thing the horsepower could pull him through, check out the "race vs eclipse" to see the insane horsepower pull a ton of cars on him in the last strech.

What car is that you're racing? Is it a VW? It did a good job considering it was running against your car. Nice straight line power on your car!!
Btw, any specs on the cars that you ran against? It would give me an idea of how well the 3800sc holds against different cars in a straight line (well, to a degree).
I love it. Those vids are great! Thanks for posting them.
I too was shocked at how bad the fiero was doing in the turns. Get some decent tires on that car, give it a rattlle can graffitti paint job and post more vids

My best advice when it comes to your Fiero is to "NOT" do any dealings with www.kitcarman.com

My favorite part is when you first raced the dodge pickup, the announcer dude was rallying the crowd, who seemed to favor the pickup a little in the first race, but by the second race you could see that the crowd was almost completly on the Fiero's side. Thaught that was kinda neat.

3.4 pulley, basic 3in magnaflow exhaust/ pvc intake, and a lot of luck! The pcm was reworked per my specifications by me, so that might be helping the manual part of it work well. It is running stock timing.
Motor has 140k+ miles on it.

Wait.. is it a 3400 or a 3800 and if it is in fact a 3400 is it pushrod or Twin Cam. Decent videos it's nice to see a race where the cars actually finish where they originally started even if it is all left turns.
So much is cool about these videos; 1) The Fiero looks like it rolled out of the junkyard, but sounds like a banshee. Ultimate sleeper 2) wins almost all its races against shiny new current cars (including one with a big bad V8, even though it's a truck) and 3) Because the moderate cheers for the Fiero in the beginning turn into nearly all of the crowd cheering for it in the final race. Obviously the lil Fiero that could, DID win the crowd.
Way cool!!! I wish more stuff like this was on vid for us all to enjoy, keep them coming if you can.
