Not sure exactly but it was in the 20s and there were about 10 Miatas... For future shows it's definitely cool to bring in some other models.
I can't get my laptop to hookup at the hotel so I can't post (I'm posting from my phone)
The cruise route was the best ever. Very challenging...I pushed the 2.8 to the limit and the stock 88 suspension is awesome. Those hairpin turns were hairy.
I have about 40 shots I will post in the morning, Just got home and I am to tired to resize all of them before I can post. Ok, I will do one or two tonight.
And we had a visitor from town
Great folks, all who attended

This is wifey (cliffw's). Just offering an update on the RRRRRR. It has been a great time. The guys are now over at the motel sitting around the pool after a great Hill Country drive, dinner on the Guadalupe River at the "Back Porch Cantina" where they enjoyed a Mexican buffet, drinks and live music.
They have been featured on a local radio station called "Revolution Radio" call letters KRVL all day complete with song dedications and calling out some of their names and telling about the cars, etc. Natalie (one of the DJ's) has been "sending out love" to them as they cruise even though they didn't hear all of it as they got out of range, which happens in the Hill Country.
The trophy awards --- Best of Show went to fierotax, Best Original went to CenTexIndy and Best Custom went to pumpkincarriage.
Tomorrow, the one's that can stay head over to Fredericksburg, TX (a little German town) for some German food, wine and a tour of the Admiral Nimitz museum. Some of the women are talking about doing some shopping as this town is well known for that.
Just giving a little update. Cliff and I are very proud of where we live and even look forward to doing this again sometime. Maybe more of you can come.
My personal thanks to all who came and for their honesty. I am very proud of this group of people as I long lost count of who owed what, for T-shirts, dinner, etc. and had people coming and offering money, telling me they owed money and for what. (You don't see that in every crowd). Every one was great!
BIG HATS OFF TO blakeinspace for his great spirit and all of his help! But really, everyone was awesome! The guys from Oklahoma City, San Antonio, Austin, the Dallas area, Houston. Thanks guys!!! You all made this a success. I also can't let it go without saying how proud I am of my hubby. He did so much work and was so anxious about all of this and he did a great job. Way to go baby!
See ya at the next one! Cindi, aka, wifey.

Yeah, me too! I had plans to go and had reservations, then the week fell apart.
Went out Monday morning to get tires balanced and found two had to be replaced. Discovered that I only had 10.8 volts. Had the battery tested, open cell. Replaced the battery, alt out put low. Got a new alternator to install, found wobbly shaft on the water pump...and so it goes...

I made it home okay.. I loved the cruise, I originally was going to opt fof the "short" cruise, but glad I changed my mind... I drove the snot out of my car, and it rewarded me with a nice drive....but as if to prove its mortality to me, I had no first gear as I got off the freeway in Houston...it's just gone, like it was never there... Don't know what happened.
Anyway here are a few of my pics, I'll start with the award winners, but I might mess that up a bit as Christen was massaging my back at the time and it's hard to remember.

Nice capture Jonathon. Unfortunately, for the non attendees, the roads kept us fiddling with the steering wheel. No time to fiddle with the camera. As I said.....

The camera lost out, . Yeah, it was a great time. I was almost too busy to appreciate it. Some I did miss but it is sinking in. I tried and I did fail. Failure is not far from success.

Thank you for inviting the Bluebonnet Miata Club to the '07 RRRRRR. We had a lot of fun. Here is a links of pictures taken by Miatas during the show and the drive after the show. The has pictures of some of the roads that were travelled during the drive. These roads are the same that the Bluebonnet Miata Club will be travelling next Saturday for our annual "Leaky & Beyond Run". Enjoy the pictures!!
p.s. I have additional pictures that I took. I am having problems sharing them and uploading them. If you want them, I will be happy to send them to you via e-mail. Sorry!

Thanks for attending!! It was fun to have along some new people to ride with... You all didn't have the added excitement of worrying about your cars breaking down..but other than that it was a blast riding with the Miatas..
BTW - I couldn't get the first link to work even though I am logged in... Album was not found.

I'll work on that and see if there is a way to share it without having to have to e-mail the link. If it doesn't work, I'll figure out how to post pictures directly.

So far, I have not found a way to share the Kodak Photo Gallery without e-mailing the link via the websites "share photos". Since I can't figure out how to upload a picture, I will be happy to send them to anyone who wants them. Or if one person wants to upload them, I can send them to you. Who knew Kodak Photo Gallery was so difficult!
OK, I have directions how to post pictures. I'll try.

No, that would be mine. I like pink I'm not gay I just wanted somthing that would stand out.
Thank you Cliffw for hosting a great Ruckus! Made it home all nice and safe and nothing broke on the way home. My friend Kurt(88GT with white nose) on the other hand had his water pump blow right about a mile from home. We're pretty sure that is the noise he heard this mornning. But all is well now.

Cheever and I were going to be the co-hosts...but since Chuck is moving to Florida, that only leave me?! Scary thought...but if I start planning now, with some help from my firends, and I know John F will be anxious as anything, I might be able to pull it off.

Me posting pictures, sorry guys, it's not happening . I keep getting error messages, so I am giving up. If anyone wants the pictures I took (some are during the drive), I will be more than happy to forward them to you. Sorry, I guess my brain is not working properly today.

Well Chris and I made it home safely with very minor rubbing damage to the car, we pulled in about 2:00 PM this afternoon. I have more pic's and will try to get them posted after I get some sleep...that three hours I got last night is wearing thin. BTW no tickets but I did have an officer follow me for over 5 miles on my way out of Tucson this afternoon
