i like it. the panel as a whole needs a contour to it though to flow better with car. all of the curves from the decklid and rear stop and the panel is flat. curve that taillight panel and you've got a winner! i'd buy one!
The wing is actually made from aircraft aluminum. It came off of an Oldsmobile Trans Am race car. Gary is still working on them to get them to look right.

Just because the stock C4 Corvette lights are recessed that amount doesn't mean that it looks best on a Fiero that way. I think it would look better if the lights were closer to being flush.
To each his own...i did not make the lights....flush mount style can be purchased from several other places. Gary didn't like the flush mount style, so he created this version from a 1984 Vette rear facia cover and lenses from carolinajoe. He's still working on it to make it better. He said he is probably going to fill in the vent in the middle, but just hasn't had the time to do it yet. As we all know, projects take the back burner when other more pressing things interferes with life.....

i used an 80-82 vette-like-panel. i took the red reflectors out of the rear fascia and put in reverse lights there. i got them at autozone and they fit perfectly. if you didn't know the car, you would'nt know they didn't belong there.

Great job Joe,
Does the Sunfire backup lights mount in the original spot or was there some modification to make? Can you please post some more pics of those with details?
Thanks.

Plus for you Joe, I wanted to do this mod for a while now however I would rather not deal with body work (and paint) so I'll keep looking for a combo backup light that fits the stock location.
You might wanna try the Dodge Stealth combo back up light, but with a half way through the stock place..you still have to do a little cutting and sanding.
