Do you have a link to the injectors that you purchased off of E-Bay? Thanks Nolan

Nice numbers. Was that a dynojet dyno? or Mustang dyno?

Dynapack.. so we can't really compare. Your motor was likely making more power than mine.
Considering how lean you were on the first run.. I wouldn't be surprised if you see 240+ HP with your setup. I sure hope so at least!

Do you know if that has the northstar thorttle body on there or not? How's the driveability?

Yea the northstar throttle body is on the motor. The driveability is great! The only problem I have is that sometimes at slower speeds when you push in the clutch to come to a stop, the car will suddenly die. Then I usually just put it in second and let the start it that way. Other than that the motor is sooo smooth revving, I love it! My dad is taking the car over to the dyno today around 4, so I will let you all know the new numbers.

id get some cam's ground to the specs of the W41 option olds 442's (and achieva's) the 190HP version of the quad4 was different from the 180HP version only cause of a different cam grind. ive heard of people using the W41 cam grind in northstar motors, and seeing 40+ wheel horsepower increase. matthew

Well the new dyno run numbers are in. Not as high as I was hoping, but then again the run conditions were 90 degrees with 51% humidity. The old numbers were 216 hp 211 torque The new numbers are 230 hp 216 torque. The air/fuel ratio looked good. It hovered mainly between 13:1 and 12.5:1, with one slight drop to 12.3:1 at 5,000 The dyno pulls were takin in 3rd gear to the 7,200 rpm rev limiter.

Graph? Peak numbers don't mean a whole lot... it's the area under the curve. BTW, what do I win?

I'll be interested to see the graph, but nice job btw! Also, when you consider everything done to that engine is pretty much stock besides the cams 230 to the wheels is doing damn good IMHO

Sorry to ressurrect an old thread. Does anyone know how the car idled with the regrinded cams? Do you think they would have much of an effect on the car's emissions?
