3 Days Long weekend 2 Nights in Motels 2100 KM (1,304 Miles) 2 Provinces 173 Liters 87 Octane petrol @ ~ $1.054 a liter 2 People 1 T-Top 86 Fiero SE...
Words can not describe the magnificent views of an autumn road trip around the Quebec Gaspé Peninsula. The huge blue water bodies, the multicolor mountains and curving roads. So, I'll let these images do the work
Enjoy...
~ DAY 1 ~
At the New Brunswick cross point where the real trip began.
Legal New Brunswick Highway speed
And hazards (That is realistic scale for a Fiero)
~ DAY 2 ~
After a nights sleep, finally at the southern shore of the peninsula
Some fishing boats are out of the water for the season
1st Lighthouse (It's actually a house)
2nd
The amazing Rocher Percé - (French rocher Percé, "pierced rock") is one of the largest and most spectacular natural arches in the world. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Perc%C3%A9_Rock
Out of the 17 Lighthouses along route 132 we saw 10 (some not in pics). A small price to pay when doing a road trip of "Flash tourism" but we were there mainly for the road, the experience, and an awesome drive in the Fiero
If you visit the region, this is one trip you want to put on your list...

Nice Pics! Looks like you had a really good time. I've always wanted to do a road trip out east (never made it past Quebec City) and after seeing your pics, I'm definitely going to do it - preferably in the fiero as well.

Fantasitic trip and scenery. Thanks for the virtual tour.
I had the wonderful opportunity to tour (by car) a portion of the Gaspe and spend a bit of time in the Quebec City environs about 10 years ago (as I lived in St.Sauveur-des-Monts from 1992 to 2001). It was beautiful then, it still is!

Thank god I left the numbers on the pics I uploaded, we took 460 picutres on this trip LOL
Sure Sean, I agree the perspective is great but it's not my best shot LOL I've uploaded a larger version to imageshack:
That's a great idea for a trip, and from the looks of it great scenery to drive through Good pics, too. I'll have to try something like that, maybe next year. Thanks for the idea

That is the best response one can get on posting a thread, when it sparks the idea with other Fiero drivers I would love to do this trip again someday, but it depends on soooooo many things in the future... One thing I know, I would like to do a coast to coast in a Fiero (or motorcycle) one day...
