I was thinking of making a new style quarter window to fit the coupe style Fiero. I may take a set of the GT blems I have and make a set, just to see what they look like on a car. My idea is to make a GT style window for the coupe. This will totally replace the quarter window and window frame on the coupe. Since the coupe and GT have the same frame, these will have the same front rolled edge as the GT and fit the coupe body totally eliminating the current coupe quarter window and window frame. This is just an idea at the moment, and opinions would be greatly appreciated. If someone wanted to Photoshop this idea, I would appreciate that also.

I would like to see options for the notchies as I need both frames for mine. I broke the tabs trying to remove them. So I am definitely needing something to replace them. I would have to see what they looked like first though. I really wanted to keep mine more stock looking, but am open for improvements.

This is exactly what I had in mind, I didn't know it had already been done. Does anyone know if they are being made by someone, or if this is the only one?

I personally would rather you finish the first issue of producing GT windows before moving ahead with another project. My understanding is that there are a lot of people still waiting for their last orders of GT style windows since offered in January 2006.

Maybe I am trying to make the best of the "mess" as you call it, by trimming down some of the GT windows I have that I wouldn't consider selling as GT windows.

I am willing to bet that is not the only one, there is probably a mirror image of it on the other side lol. Sorry couldn't help myself.

Since I haven't seen them for sale anywhere myself, it would be fair to say that they would do well. IF someone else is making them, they're doing a VERY poor job or getting the word out. I'd go for a pair! Especially from someone who already has experience with this type of material. Shouldn't be any problem finding someone who can screen print these...

Wow...those look awesome. When you mentioned it...My first thought was..."I wish my car was a notch". Now that I see them on LilDevil's car(looked at pics of his car about a zillion times and never noticed them)...I'm really wanting a notch.lol.
nope...not the same as LilDevils. Notice the difference in the width of the top. The ones from Fiero-Sails are designed to be factory looking replacements.
Yea...i ve had em on my car for almost 10 years now. It took two tries to get em right. I took the stock quarter windows and cut a piece of lexan the same shape as the applique. Then glued it over and then filled in the seams. Someone was making a fiberglass piece that you glued or taped over the existing applique but not sure how well they sold or if they are still making them.
"What ever happend to the Wraparound Sail Panel from fiero sails?"
We had a web page 2-3 years ago about the wrap-around sail panels and left it up for about a year. We requested that anyone seriously interested please let us know. In that year we had maybe 5-6 expressions of genuine interest and didn't consider that enough to warrant all the work involved to go into production. Now that the Fiero is a bit older and more people seem to be interested in non-stock replacements, maybe Lori has a market. Since she already has the equipment to roll and curve the front edge it won't take much more to get the right shape and edge profile.

I tried to look at the pictures of the wrap around sail panels but they were'nt there but if anyone produces ones like what is shown on lildevils car id be interested.
well id like to hear what lildevil made his from and i saw the GT windows and those are goin to be lexan if i remember correct as well as hearing on this thread just to get an idea of what the difference might look like and how he might have done it (that is if he's willing to share with us :P)
i would also be in for a set. i'd pay the price IF: if it were pristine, mate reasonably well to the side window aft edge with a straight seam, wouldn't blow off in a strong side wind, or be easily pry-off-able by fiero-hating delinquents. 300clams seems a bit excessive. volume purchases would assure a lower price.

Im still interested depending on the price. $300 seems a bit much but if they can be made to look like the ones lildevil has they look much better than stock.

Not to be rude, but was it worth reviving this thread seeing all the great progress of her GT windows over the last 2 years? I revised my post that I did last year in this thread to "clean it up" but really, finish 1 project successfully before offering another !!!
