Many of us PFF members, including myself, have paid Andrew (user F-I-E-R-O) for custom made badges. It has been MONTHS since payments have been sent, yet we received absolutely nothing. He refuses to reply to emails, phone calls or PMs that we've all sent, and he completely ignores us in the sales thread. He has lied, cheated and has taken our money.
A few of us have contacted him through ebay about the products he sells there, to see if he is still active online, and he responds within hours. When asked about the badges on PFF, he will no longer communicate with you. What a scumbag.
Apparently he has done this REPEATEDLY on this forum, yet for some reason I never knew about it. Now my efforts are to warn others about his scams, and hopefully prevent him from getting more victims to fall into his plans. People of this nature do not need to be one to represent us here at PFF. This is a trusting community, or shall I say family, and ones that abuse us and steal from us need to be banned. It is us that put in our trust and commitment, yet it is us that get lied to, cheated from, and completely ignored. We do not deserve this treatment, nor shall we tolerate it.

That really sucks as I usually just tend to blindly trust anyone here on the Forum, as a matter of fact I sent a postal MO off in the mail last week for $270 to a fellow Forum member for a part and received my tracking number by PM today. Sounds like a good time to bump up the good/bad - buyers/sellers thread so I can add his name to the good side!
The irony. Those three words are more damaging than all of Autotech's message. I got lucky the first time around and so I can't complain, but it does bother me that you guys haven't received your product... He does amazing work after all. I hope that he gets back on track with everyone.
If nothing else count your blessings that it wasn't more.

That is my rule of thumb here as well, and thats why I never cared to look into him. Unfortunately with all groups of people, you will have your occasional bad apple. Lets just hope we can prevent this from happening to others.

I've never dealt with Andrew nor have I ever purchased anything from him. With that said, is it possible that he's just run into some financial trouble and is too embarrassed to admit it? I'm not trying to defend him if he's truely a cheat, but...? And why rag on him if not on the others that have fallen in the same category (Ms. Lori and smoothGT are the two that come to mind)? (Maybe I've missed or forgotten some threads regarding the others.) On the other hand, maybe I don't have any idea what I'm talking about and you all can go ahead and ignore me. I'm just trying to see the good in folks?
I havent mentioned anyone else, simply because I have never dealt with them. I cannot portray ones character if I personally havent even spoken with them.
I also tried to see the good in Andrew, thought maybe he was having troubles. All this was thrown out the window when he was caught still happily doing business on eBay. He is in fact in no trouble, he has just choosen to cheat us, hopefully you can see why we are upset.

hmm....if he's selling them on ebay, maybe those who bought one here can buy another there, pay with paypal, then claim to never have received the product and request a refund? Afterall, the first one he mails you would be the first one you ordered, here on PFF right? The second one ordered and paid for would be the ebay one. If he doesnt want to send that second one through then paypal will refund you since you never did receive the second one ordered.... Just a thought

Yep, I called him one night and I got his wife on the phone she told me his computer didn't work thats why I he hasn't replied to my e-mail, I told her that it would be a godd idea for him to call me back tonight, she said okay, and guess what he didn't call, so I messaged him through e-bay and got a response for him saying:

Well I have proof that I have paid and not recieved the item, as most people on here do too. But if you put all this in fancy legal terms, this problem can be sumed up to one word................THEFT. It could fall under SCAM, because one pays for product/service and does not recieve product/service falls under SCAM or THEFT. I know this product we paid for is minor in price, but if you take all our money and add it up, we are talking thousands of dollars, that could include Ebay members too. And that could be jail time if someone reports him.

Didn't you give him a negative feedback on ebay? This is his only "neg" in the past 12 months. According to his ebay feedback he's certainly doing well enough to ship his products over there. Even completed a sale of the new style badge.

I wasn't refering to that Russian Roulette, the other one, the one with one bullet in some random part of the Drum on a Revolver. I had no problem with Andrew, he talked for a while on the phone and e-mail, I wouldn't have a problem with him now if he would just stop ignoring me and give me answers. What he is asking for the badges is an awesome deal. If he is working a CNC machine he should be putting them out. I used to work at a machine shop and I know it doesn't take that long to make something, I made 175 Impellers for a Fuel Pump that went to a jet engine in 8 hours and they had to be deburred and polished and had to be 100% to specs with .0001 tolerences on most of the specs.

maybe T697 can pick up where andrew left off, my one experience with andrew went well even though he fudged the numbers and sent me the receipt showing he payed $6 less than what was his supposid cost.

Okay, that's not fair at all, nor accurate. If you want to jump on folks for the sole sake of sticking up for the underdog, then fine. But unless you've paid your own good money, been lied to, and then totally cut off from all communication, then you really are totally off base for making a comment like that. Seriously. Yes, you have the right to speak your mind and say almost anything you'd like. There's no law against asinine comments as these are protected by the First Amendment. And usually, I'm the 'stick up for the little guy' person. I actually received my two badges...this time. Andrew STILL never sent me my hood badge...and yet I still got swept up by his creativity, in the hopes that he had learned his lesson from before. I was wrong. Alot of people were wrong.
Do your homework and read the posts where I've pleaded with Andrew to do the right thing. And he has done anything, but. I applaud AutoTech for calling him out as he did. Goodness knows, Andrew has had the opportunity to make good. A simple "I will make good" is all that was required. This is nothing like the ridiculous beef with Archie, and it's lame that you would even make the comparison. To my account and knowledge, Archie has never stolen money, lied to people, and disappeared for months...only to surface elsewhere on the internet selling the very goods he's not made due to people on Pennock's.
So please, if your going to stick up for Andrew...state that folks haven't given him enough time to spit on a rag and polish a 6 inch piece of aluminum. It's only been since November. Remind folks of the realities of mental illness concerns, and that this guy, while talented, apparently has some real deep issues that need to be addressed by a doctor and we might want to sympathize with his plight. But that's hard to do when he shuts down all communication and still is able to sell stuff on ebay. Perhaps $100 is not a big deal to you or for others...I've lost more over sillier things. But this is much more than about money. It's about trust and being repeatedly lied to.
I hope you don't take my issue with your temporary lapse in judgment personal...but what Andrew is doing to people on this group buy has become VERY personal, and I could not let your blast on someone who has been ripped off, go unchecked.
