We have plans for a Sunday afternoon cruise on 25 May 08, starting at the Flying J at the 401&Highbury Ave interchange. It should be a run south and past Shaw's Ice Cream for an early season ice cream treat, then on to the shores of Lake Erie. Restaurant to be announced, but, I'm inclined to do Tiger Jacks again because it is near to PBJ's shop just in case somebody as an early season problem.
We are planning the SOFA Great Lakes Fiero Show at the same location as last year on 9 August 08. The decision has been made for no T's this year, instead SOFA window decals and PFF decals courtesy of Sofastra.
We are also looking at other runs, probably a Grand Bend run, possibly Sarnia (hi Dav E Bouy), and maybe a run up around Woodstock/St.Mary's/Stratford territory.
If you would like to host one, the prerequisites are parking space, a BBQ, and no gravel roads for our members with those fancy paint jobs.

This is my biannual post of "Wish I lived closer...wish gas wasn't $170 from Montreal to London and back...and such" But...Who knows where I'll end up this summer

I am moving on April 25, and the new place is 1.5 Acres on Highway 59, just off the 401 at Woodstock. I am sure I could set something up for a BBQ for the Woodstock/St.Mary's cruise. I know the area fairly well, and know of a lot of Fieros that are just sitting around in that area. We could all stop in for a peek. :}

Dont you guys listen to Jay.........he is a "newly minted" country boy, as opposed to us guys that have been out here a while.
Congrats, Jay....you and the kids and Mau are in for one hell of an adventure. 1st time the power goes out, the well stops pumping and the car wont work and you need to get to town...........well, you know where to find me and the horses.
And you will learn WHY the horses are still around. <very evil grin>

You'll likely have a new addition to the group this year I'm chompin at the bit to get in on some of the cruises. Lacking the crucial ingredient right now (a fiero). But that will be changing soon.

Syme, If you are interested I know where to find a 2-4-1 deal on base coupes for a real decent price in London, Exeter/Wonderland area. I'd grab them myself except I already have my hands full, AND by doing so I would likely end up single.

Thanks for the offer. But, I'm looking towards 6 cyl/stnd models. Mechanically sound, little rust, sunroof... you know the drill Right now I'm considering an '86 GT from a forum member south of the boarder. I'm pricing out transport, and sorting out the legal details to try and make it happen. Shopping in Canada is much simpler, but the pickings are slimmer, and the prices here have gotten ridiculous. But always have my eyes open

I'm pretty optomistic that I can get my car ready for this year...atleast for the later part of the season...I'd love to join you guys this year, it's been too long since I've driven my car!

I happen to know where there is an 88 GT in what looks to be in decent shape. I'm not really sure if it's for sale but apparently it's been sitting for a while. I'ts also in the London area
