NO, I didn't hit the wall again, but they got me for excessive wheel spin on my takeoff(Good thing they didn't see the way I went around the corners). I felt like a little kid getting scolded by the principal.

WOW Another great weather day at the Glen. I'm sorry I missed it this year after being there in '05, '06, '07. And I missed my friend Jerry, but I suspect we'll meet again at Carlisle. I've changed my car a bit with a custom / homemade colorized nose bra. Used a secret process. The new matching color makes the car faster , just so ACII couldn't pass me as he tried to do last year. Although I didn't have the Fiero, I did get out to the Glen for the first time this year, and had a blast. There was a very large contingent of Fieros there, very impressive everyone! Some really nice one's too!

The event was a charity event of 3 paced laps every time out. Cars would line up behind a pace car, take the three laps, then come off as a group. The cop car would go onto the track after the third lap was started to block the front straight and guide the cars onto pit lane and back to the parking area, so the next group that was pre-staged could head out to the track. It wasn't a uniformed officer, and I am thinking it might have just been a track worker using the car because it had the lights on it (there was what looked like a cop car bone yard next to the one parking area, lots of old cruisers sitting there) right on the grounds. Maybe the car came from there, and wasn't even in service.

The back of my neck was burned pretty good too. It still feels warm, it'll probably peel soon.
So... after having so much fun at the Glen the last few years and being that I'll be in North Carolina soon I did a quick search to see if there were any good road courses in NC. Take a look at this: http://www.racehighrock.com/
