One of you early orderers needs to give a review of these when you get them. I'm sure we're all eager to hear how they measure up. I would be right there with you if I hadn't gotten in early on this little venture....
noticed they use pop rivets. but so far that's all I can see.
Actually, I kind of feel guilty because I know you were doing reproductions and really debated posting this thread. Hopefully, you can also be a source for these in the future
Got my order in. Too bad I JUST HAD THE DOOR APART!! But I needed a bucnh of other stuff, too. I've spent around $600 there in the past 4 months or so...
I guess I can just offer the inners until they undercut me on them too. If I was a real ass I could offer these for $50 but that would only pay materials and not the time spent to make them. I've spent almost every night and every weekend day making these, so now it's time for a break. From the pictures, theirs are built like the remakes that they were previously offering except they're using the handy mans pop rivet gun instead of the machine rivets I use and the covered tabs are the same as their remakes, while I go for the original designed tabs. either way doesn't make a difference.
