While going through the photos of the 25th and finishing up the book I came across several "poster shots" of the prototypes. One of which is an incredible beauty shot of the '89/'90 prototype. I can do a short run on 20X30 posters (I am going to have a sample made to make sure my camera's resolution is good enough for that huge of a shot) But I was thinking of the one Large beauty shot of the prototype and a line of smaller shots of the car, interior,engine,etc... along the bottom of the large photo all framed in black and with a single line of text underneath proclaiming what is on the poster.... "-- Pontiac Fiero 1989/1990 Prototype -- Pontiac, MI 25'th Anniversary --"
I'm making one for me. I think I will be able to sell them for $15.00 each + shipping (I have no idea how much for shipping) IF I can get them done in batches of 10 or more. I'll post a photo here when I get mine finished so everyone can make a decision.
I will not be making anything more than $1.00 each on these things. Again it's because I am having such a blast with this and want to offer it to everyone here.
Is it a good idea?

Can't we just cut his head out.. then forum members can send pics of their heads and everyone can have their own custom poster of themselves in the prototype
OK, I can now start working on the poster. I had printed a 12X18 print of the photo I want to use and it looks really good so I'm moving forward with creating a nice 20X30 poster print. I'll post a image (smaller than full size ) of it here when I get it done and ask what you all think before I have a test printed.
and I promise... no smiling Fred in the photo... well except for the one he orders. JK

timgray go to USPS.org, or com or what ever it is. You can get free shipping containers. I used them to ship 55 sets of dew wipes October last year. You can save a little on the shipping cost that way. And I want one also. Joe Crawford Texas
Getting closer to getting this done and ready. I had to search for a company that would do small runs of 20X30 posters for an affordable price. The last one I had lined up decided to triple their price after I asked for a written quote.
I'll be posting a proof image of the poster very soon. I have not forgotten about this, I'm trying to get the costs down so I can sell it for the target price. NOTE: I made my userbars in a free graphics program called GIMP.
