This rear deck has both electric and mechanical release. I don't have a pic of the D/S available...but the fuel filler is mounted into the concave area behind the driver's door. The rear will open further by disconnecting 2 cables if the engine needs to be worked on, however, this is as far as is required for regular maintenance. It clicks shut with finger light touch. Notice the hand made elliptical shaped exhaust tips that stay behind.

I've posted some more pictures of the rear of Rhythm in 'Rhythm - Rolling Art'. I'm trying to keep all the detailed pictures in one spot...this one hear was just a teaser...if you will.
