Hey guys, I was informed this morning by Stu's dad that he had a stroke about 3 weeks ago. He was next in line to get his 87 GT in for a 3800 swap at my place. He told me he is in pretty bad shape, and may never drive again. Stu is a great guy and I have known him for a few years now, since he is one of the Wichita Fiero guys. So keep him in your thoughts, and hopefully he will make a fast and full recovery.

Stu's dad called me yesterday to give me an update. He is doing better, and can talk a little. He hasnt started his therapy yet, but they expect him to do well. He said to hold off on everything for the swap and just to set his engine aside for now, because he still wants to go through with it after his recovery. That sounds to me like they think he will be able to drive again, which is great news. So still keep him in your thoughts and prayers while he goes through his therapy, and hopefully he will be back on here soon!

Is Stu able to check his PMs, email, this thread. It does the soul a lot of good to know that folks actually care and are pulling for you. My best wishes to Stu, I'll send him a PM just in case he's able to check them. I'd ask other's to do the same.

Glad to hear his on the mend. I will say though this engine swap should not go thru. When he hits the gas on a newly installed 3800SC his heart rate will be to fast and put him back in the hospital if not carefull but at least he will have a smile on his face the whole time. I know there were a f ew times I got out of my car and was shaking with a high heart rate especially Spring time when I took it out for the first run and "hit it".
Get better fast Stu. Rick B
