Can't wait to see your work in person. Chester is supposed to bring the rat over when he gets it back for a Bluegrass Fiero Gathering. Looks great from what I can see.

Is it just me, or do the left hand side taillight lenses look like they've been photoshopped on there? There's a bunch of funny stuff going on with the top, too...
LOL the lenses on either sides are just copies of one another. You can tell because they both appear to be going in the same direction. Theres definately some photoshoppin going on there

I was thinking the same thing about the lenses. Lets hope its either photoshop, or a bad angle. Also, I think I'd do away with the prancing horse.
I think it was the lighting... & thats supposed to be a prancing RAT! hehehehe
Lookin' good Bill... REALLY good!

Come on Fiero people you can't tell look at the roof, it's getting a targa top done. you can see the cut if you look real good, or maybe I've cut so many I just know it by heart. Can't wait to see it Chester from the side, I always wondered what a chop top targa would look like (not photo shopped)

Actually the roof was colored to give it that velvet convertable look...
And what are you doing cutting all those roofs off? Poor Fieros!

Photochopped, yes... but that's a good idea. I never thought of using actual *replica* 355 lenses for the tails... and all this time I've had corvette lights. [sigh]

I have more pics as well Elvira, but that was the only one he said I could post I think the taillights compliment the nose well Joyce
Hehe, yes they do but he has ANOTHER idea in the works for the tail lights. That poor car will NEVER be done!! That's ok, it looks like my blue GT will be coming to you guys in the spring for the same mod that the Rat is getting!!

Chester is working very late tonight. The joys of working on the state's servers, it has to be done after hours, but he said he will post the pics when he gets home tonight!

Alright folks - the cats out the bag! Here is whats happening to the Rat... Many of you were on the right track. I just wanted to say that Bill and Joyce did a pretty good photoshop job for being novice computer users. It did fool a few of you. But you can't get anything past you veterans! Anyway here are the pics that tell the story...
The FIRST choptop TARGA....
Drum roll please....
Poor car back on the lift...
The reinforcements arrive!
All tucked in. The underside will get prep and paint.

I'm going to bed - been a LONG day!

got to be the first targa/choptop, eh? well done.. =]
Well with Curly raising the bar with the Lambo doors I had to do something! The fact that I miss my T-top with a passion made this mod perfection for me. The performance and the open air... Can't wait to drive her with the top off!

LOL! This dude looks like he's getting some sick pleasure from taking the sawsall to a Fiero. Prolly a closet Honda fan!
Seriously, though - this looks incredible, can't wait to see it all painted!
Thanks! I can't wait to see it painted as well! The cars getting painted House of Kolors Black Pearl with gunmetal ghost flames and red metal flake in the clear coat...by yours truely - me. That will be another one of those 5 million picture threads...
BTW I want to mention that I'm very anal when it comes to my car (hehehe ask Archie) and it was hard to leave my car behind with Bill, who at the time was a total stranger. I have to say that after I saw his car at the Daytona show and visited the shop to see what he had brewing there - I was very impressed! He had a few replicas in the works which look incredible...needless to say - I felt confident that my car was in good hands...

Does B&BSpyder sell a Targa kit? Were did you buy yours?
I'm pretty sure he is going to make a kit available. In my case the roof is a little narrower because of the chop so its being done by the man himself...

Nice Work Chester...Between you and Curley the rest of us might as well compete for third in the custom class...well you both are actually modified so I better keep that 6 banger in mine or I don't have a chance.
I think one of my cars is going to need a trip to B&B, Archies, or both soon.
