Well, I call it "Red 5" simply b/c it is my 5th Fiero and it is red....but I have made it into a "Texas Edition".
Almost all the work has been done by Hobodude34.

sitting in the shop:

Out with the Old....

Here sits what will be the new:

Also got new tips:

New gauges and bezels:

Valve Covers:

Installed and ready for a test run (this was done back at the NTFC Spring Fling).
Ran great. Drove almost 700 miles that day.
(No lint build up during the day - that hose served it's purpose for the test)

Back in the shop for a complete rebuild:

New paint on the engine:

Some new badges:

---Hope to have it all back together by the end of next week. Can't wait.

It could be the mascot car for the Texas 5. I like the TX flag on the motor nice idea.

i really rally love the Texas flag..
I was trained as a graphic designer and may have too critical an eye for logos and such
but the Texas flag and the American flag are just so "right on the money" as far as
simplicity... easy recognition and easily recognized from a distance.
the Canadian flag on the other hand looks like somebody's 14 daughter designed it [/rant} lol

That would be a huge gear shift handle. It is about 2 1/2 feet tall.
