I am looking for black and tan or black and beige either way around as their are no photos of these mixes on Mr Mikes site. I am still partial to the brown and tan mixes too so please post any pics of your seats and your centre console cover I am looking at leatherette to save money but post anything beige or tan.

I've never thought about the tan/beige and black combination... I like it.
Well so do i it seems i was hell bent on the brown tan combo but figured if i got it in black/tan i could start adding more black to the car. I am still very partial to brown/tan and in GT but seeing the other combos i am starting to like the modern sports look which did not excite me before.

One thing the light tan and black combo allowed me to do, was to change out the seats, and not disrupt the interior theme to a great extent (some think the new yellow/blk seats add to the tan/blk interior theme). I switched the seats out about a year back, as the Chinese Racing Seats were only $200 for the set on an internet sale, they're nearly as comfortable as the Fiero seats, and provide more side support.
No black, but here are mine in the '86. Leatherette.
That, IMO, is downright stunning. I'd like to get that same color combination for my `86 GT. What are the specific names of the two Mr. Mike's colors in which you ordered those leatherette seat covers?
I'd ordered a color combination similar to that, but in leather, before the "leatherette" seat covers came out, and although they looked great initially, the leather seat covers ended up exhibiting premature cracking and discoloration.

I went with leather and suede combo for mine. I love the 2 tone plus the suede isn't sticky when it's hot out here. I supplied my leather and suede to Mr. Mike though.

Nice! Glad I could help. They really do set the interior off nicely. Mr.Mike has done his homework on the colors, and I'm certain you are going to love the seats.
And please, please, please - Use the padding, spray glue, duct tape over the normal wear spots. If you dont, you'll find your sexy new seat covers are going to wear out just like your old ones did. You need to protect them from that metal structure where the original foam deteriorated.
Enjoy!

Agreed! I love that color combination. That is what I am going to do to my black 87 SE when I have the $$$.
BTW, I am such a noob. Can someone please clarify the factory tan/brown/beechwood interior options that were available and what years they were available? For example, officially what color is in my "brown" interior 87 SE?

Beachwood was used only in 1988. It is a bit darker than the tan/brown combination of the 84-87's. Ths photo is of my car. It has tan/brown, except for the shift surround, speedo surround, and the AC/radio surround:

Fast delivery i mean fast thanks Mr Mike. The quaility is just as i expected it exceeds anything else available. I can only recommend these seat cover excellent.
About two thirds down page 6 on my thread are some pics of Mr. Mike himself, the seats he made up for me and the fun I had in March of 2007 at Daytona!
Hopefully that's not too much of a thread jack, but could people post their Cream Mr. Mikes seats? (I don't think they're popular enough to warrant their own thread)

California Kid, could you post pictures of those seats installed? What do you think of them long term? How are they on long drives? Any downsides to the lateral support?

I've wanted Mr. Mike's seats for a long, long time... going on almost 10 years now. But I'm so careful about my interior that my factory seats are still totally immaculate... so how do I justify tearing up perfectly good factory seats for a set of these seats?
Sigh... I don't know... maybe I'll get a set of spare seats and order some seat covers later on when the car is finished.
Eventually the padding under the seat cover will fail in the bolsters. The covers wear through from the back to the front in most cases, not the other way around. If you are sensitive to that foam, and replace it as soon as it starts to feel dubious, you should be able to get nearly forever out of those factory covers.
But if MrMike has your heart, I think picking up a second set of seats and recovering those while putting your clean originals in storage is much preferable to carving up a good set of seats. MrMike's kit reuses some of the padding that's built into the factory seat covers as well. In my case the passenger seat cover was still perfect, so I substituted some 1" mattress foam in order to preserve that cover with good results.

Picked them up on a sale about a year ago $200 for the pair, and $100 for the pair of 4 point belts. I like the seats, they are nearly as comfortable as the Fiero seats, I've spent 4 hrs in them with no complaints. These seats offer better lateral support than the Fiero Seats, which I do like very much ! They fit in the car "tight" against the carpeted tunnel, but are a nice fit in the car. You cannot open the console glove box while driving, you have to release seat back lever-rotate seat back forward to open it. They do sell them in other colors and as far as order time, they took about 7 wks to delivery to Michigan. Normally I'd never had bought Chinese seats, but at the price I couldn't pass it up.
Edited to add: By the way, I'm not selling my Fiero Seats with Mr. Mikes leather, they are great seats. They'll go into my '87 or back into the '88 if the Chinese seats don't hold up.
