Why aren't there any green Fieros? Why no love for green? I'm taking mine in this weekend to finally get painted and was thinking about doing it in a metallic green color, but before I make mine final decision between Blue and Green I'd like to see some more green Fieros, it seems like blue ones are a dime a dozen.
MinnGreenGT's (haven't seen him post in awhile) is the only green Fiero I like. His is Jaguar Racing Green, I believe, not to be confused with British Racing Green.

"Hello people. Yes it is me Mr John Parenti. I would first like to thank all of you on this forum for your kind words about my car. I thought I was forgotton by many Fiero people.I guess I was wrong. Anyway I have sold my car to a gentlemen in Washington State just a few minutes ago. The reason why I sold it is that I have had my fun with the car and it is time to move onto something different. The S2000 idea was cool, but for the reason of high theft rate I decided to go with something different. I just bought a 1997 BMW Z3 Roadster with a slant 2.8 li 6 cyl and 5 speed. The color is Atlantic Blue with a tan top and tan interior, just like the one featured in 007 Goldeneye. This is a NICE RIDE. You guys in MN. need to put some seat warmers in your car like this one has! I will always be here for the Fiero people if they need some ideas or advice. I have been around Fieros and thier owners for 12 years, and I will always cherish the memories. I just might show up at a show in Z3. I know (Boo Booo Hiss Hiss)
He posted in a thread a couple of times talkin about beach body products, they created dvd workout programs........ Other then that yur rite, he sure doesn't post much since his baby was born, + work and everyday life too...... He also enlarged a photo for me via PM less then a month ago, he probably jus checks the forum more then post......

Green Fieros can look great, or they can look gaudy. Just depends on the variation of green - and how well the rest of the car is put together. I'm really digging the Viper "Snakeskin" green one above (love the flat black for contrast too). I only wonder how it might look a little more modern or aggressive with some black wheels too.
I originally had my car painted a Medium Metallic Green ('95 Corvette - with a little extra gold flake in the base coat) back in 1996. Then after re-doing most of the body with modded panels (scoops, vents, etc) - I had Firefox reshoot the car with the modern Jaguar Racing Green (as noted above - different from your traditional "BRG" British Racing Green in that it's a very metallic color). It's also interesting because it's quite difficult to photograph the color - it tends to go either really dark, or somewhat blue on camera (when compared to the color perceived in person).
There are plenty of older pics in the above linked threads of my car - so here's a newer one. Just shot it last night on my way home from getting back on the road!

That Guy? Nahh... he's a tough one to reach these days. Oh wait... no. That's me!
Pavo's post above was pretty accurate. I have a (nearly) 8 month old son now - and like most kids (especially the first ones), they're very much all-consuming time wise. I tend to stop by and do quick browse of the topics, but mostly just check my PM inbox for activity.
I also have come to realize that my interests ebb & flow as the years pass by. And the past couple of years have just been a "low tide" for the Fiero. I think I burned myself out trying to get so much stuff done a few years ago. Last summer the GreenGT was once again my daily driver. I tried to take it to Dells Run, but was thwarted by alternator/electrical problems. I did manage to make it our local MFF Summer Drive-In, as well as the big Fiero Anniversary show in Michigan (where I also experienced some electrical bugs - but thankfully we trailered 4 cars on a hauler). Then to end the season, my radiator started leaking heavily and I'm not sure that the rear main could leak much more oil and still be called a "seal" of any sort!
Thanks to a good friend, I received a new radiator (that sweet 3 core aluminum one off ebay) as a gift - and just got it installed over the past 2 weekends. The car seems to running reasonably well - and we're heading down to Dells Run again this weekend (leaving Thursday). I hope I make it this year!
minngreen's car is in my top 2 being just infront of californakids yellow gt with the sweet hilborne injected small block that is going in and
also the wheels on the mean green machine what are they roh?
Wow! That's high praise Much appreciated.
The car is wearing R1 Racing GTR-4 Wheels. At the time I bought them, they were only available in silver & gray - so before I even had tires mounted, I had them painted gold to fit the "theme" of the car. Now R1 actually manufactures the wheel with a bronze finish! Also, it took me more than a year to get the wheels because I wanted a mixed size (what a headache)... 18's in the back, 17's up front. You can read that whole sad story here! https://www.fiero.nl/forum/A...060206-1-052038.html

Wow, you must be psychic. I was looking at black wheels when I read your post. I actually like the black Nascar rims but I'm not sure if it would look right.

Not psychic - just "great minds think alike" perhaps! Do you have a link to the wheels you're considering?
Edit: None are 5X100...I'll have to look into it further.
Doh! I do like the style - with a car like that, I think that a wheel with simple "heavier" spokes suits it nicely. Always keep in mind that if you find the right shape - they could be painted to match the car (flat black, I'd assume).

Let's not forget this one....For the life of me, I can't remember the name of the guy that owns it, but i saw him at the Fiero Factory last year, and again at the 25th where this pic was taken.
Little photoshopping for this one, but I just have to throw in my project's planned outcome.....
Figured this could use a quick bump with a sweet green car from Dells Run 2009! This car was originally built & owned by joshua riedl - and is now owned by "hot-snott". This green can seriously stand out in a crowd!
