I'm a bit confused. You put a Fiero interior into a Scout? Or was there more to it than that?

It would be to much of a PITA plus you would need to make it a front engine car unless you got the money for a lambo drivetrain.

Bummer, I would be really cool to have. Why front engine though?

EDIT: I think I get it. Is it because Fiero is a mid-engine car, and the drivetrain would most likely be coming from a front engine car, because Fiero is the only American mid-engine car.

The drivetrain is all 1979 IH scout. They built a stout truck however the bodies fell off due to rot. The engine is 345ci, the trans is a 727 torqueflight, the rears are Dana 44. The next level would be to detail the engine, reshoot the body, new carpet, a locker in the front rear. If I don't sell it that's what I'll be doing. As far as streetability it will need 3" flares to be road legal. Headlight and exhaust levels are within Pa. specs. My price is 5K, this covers the cost of the parts, the labor is free.

There is someone running around with an AWD Fiero, cool thing is no transfer case needed. They made the front electric drive and the rear remained stock. Kinda neat setup.

thanks for the pics. I have slow internet here in the desert. So surfing through a bunch of pics is hardly possible

that's the best 4x4 fiero I've ever seen done. most the time, they look like they have a huge body lift and you see the whole frame.

How much is the asking price? That thing looks badass.

Regarding the mid-engine thing. There is already a thread going, but I don't think everyone fully understand what it takes to be a mid-engine car. Vettes (C4-C6) and Vipers are both mid-engine cars.

Thanks to all who have commented. My price is 5K. This covers the parts, the labor is free. I have a clear Pa. title in my name. I talked with an inspection mechanic concerning how to title and inspect. His advice was to leave it titled as a Fiero and avoid the truck weight inspection bullcrap, also the registration fees are much lower. I'll post some trunk pics tomorrow as I don't have any handy.

Sidepipes would be cool, I wanted to put stacks on it however the wife said "that was far to redneck, even for me". So I ran them to the stock location. I have a truck (IH) air horn I'm going to install (I know the redneck thing). I still think it will be cool!!!!
