I am thinking of having a get together sometime this fall at my place. My unit is deploying sometime early next year and I would like to have a get together of Fiero's down at my place before it gets cold this fall, (plus I want to show off my new garage and as my wife puts it, the "MAN CAVE") and I'm not sure when orders will start next spring. Anyway, I was thinking of having a get together, maybe a potluck, throw some burgers and brauts on the grill, that type of thing. I am thinking sometime around the first part of next month. Our new place is in Adrian (about 50 miles So of KC) right off of 71 hiway. Anyway, let me know if anyone would be interested. Maybe we can have a bench racing day for ideas on the Anti Indy project. When did you move down there? and what happened to the shop you were working at in Liberty?

Well, I am still working in Liberty, and we moved down there last month. Small town living is so much better than living in the city. The get together will be on a weekend, and the more the merrier. I still have to look at my training schedule for the reserves and all before I can set a firm date, but it will probably be either the 1st or 3rd weekend of Sept. I'll know more after this weekend, and I'm looking forward to seeing everyone's car's, and I'm looking forward to that ride. How much damage did that fender bender do to your 3800 swap Chris?

Good luck with your deployment Thumper--I didn't realize you were military when we exchanged PMs.

The wreck wasn't horrible, the swap survived it just fine, everything is fixable, It should be getting on a frame straightener today and getting ready for paint!

I am gonna need to get the car aligned, more for the custom suspension I put on, but I still want to get it the alignment done.

Snow must suck so bad i am so glad it doesn't ever snow here. The only good thing about snow is you guys love your cars so much you use that time to do your modifications for summer.

Right now we are in a record setting heatwave up here, but this will be the last chance for me to do somethig like this before it either gets too cold or I deploy, but the snow really isn't all that bad, and I drive my Fiero's year round, lol

I drove mine in the snow this last year too. It really sucked for about a week or so, but otherwise the Fiero did fine. Once it starts to fishtail though theres really not much of a way to get it to stop...

Just trying to get an idea of numbers. I know there are more than just 2 Fiero owners in the area. I'd like this to be a big get together.

IF it was not so far I would join you all. Thank you for what you are doing for our country.

all I can say is ROAD TRIP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! lol. I understand that its a long drive but if you feel like a road trip we'd love to see you there.

Hello again, I'm still planning on coming up there. I might have Kris Antuzzi in tow with me as well, but we'll see. I'll have to see if any of the other Joplin area guys want to come up too. I have a GPS so finding Adrian shouldn't be a problem.

I will most likely ride with albi. I would like to drive a fiero but I need to ask before i drive it (not my car). And it eats coils like candy so I am going to do a couple mods and this would be a perfect test drive

I will try and make it as well, do not know about my son thou his girlfriend went offto college this year and tries to come home every weekend so he has other intrests.

Awsome, the more the merrier. I have a 10 lb brisket that I am going to smoke, along with a slab of ribs, corn on the cob, and baked beans. One thing I don't have too many of is chairs, so bring your lawn chairs along, lol.

Ok, directions to my place. Take easiest route to Adrian, Mo. At the stop sign when you first come into town, turn right. Goto 7th street. Turn left on seventh. We are on the left hand side, second house from the end of the street. I will have one of my fieros setting in front of the house. My number is 816-423-1723 if anyone gets lost or has questions. I'll start getting set up around 8 or so, so whenever ya wanna come is fine. Hope to see a bunch here.

I'm not sure if TwoFatGuys is going to make it up from lack of funds/starting new job but Kris will either ride up with me or he'll follow behind, depending on how its running. I think Mike has to work too.
