Nice car. Not much to restore there other than rust. Rest seems cosmetically doable. You have to see the car I got into. It is a real mess! But nothing more satisfying than saving a Fiero

Did you try the Felpro Permadry Plus blue gasket, part # VS50179T? They're supposed to be VERY good about not leaking, would save a lot of time/money finding another cover and repainting it if it works?

Your driver's side headlight motor also appears to have the small smooth knob? Mine had one too when I bought it, I believe it came from an 82 or 83 Firebird.

And that is THE most ghetto positive battery bolt I have ever seen And I can't even tell what that is on the (WAY too long) negative cable.

did you check that starting bypass wire that I showed you. It could have gotten knocked out.

If it cranks then the wire is still there, It is one the neutral safty switch. its on the top of the trans.

tbone you did put the fuel filter on in the corrcet direction right? Just asking since you said it ran before you did the filter.
