Can we get the links to each one, and perhaps a direct E-Mail put up on one thread. I know there is more than just the 88 database out there, but I am having trouble finding them.
So I will make a list. All I need is help finding all the links
info id like - (im not going to ask anyone to take their car apart for the datecodes that are hidden everywhere) and any info you dont want to give, fine by me:P vin: production date clear title? trim code se, gt, 2m6 whatever) exterior color - original? interior color - original? milage location owners name/pff name e-mail address engine auto/manual(4 or 5speed?) sunroof? build thread? (PFF, cardomain, etc) mods: other info? This WILL be getting posted on a website when i get it done for public viewing.. so any info you give be sure you dont mind if someone has it.
What I am looking to keep track of is the following... 1. VIN 2. Exterior color 3. Interior color 4. Transmission type (Auto or Manual) 5. Power options (PW PL PM) 6. Cruise (Y/N) 7. Spoiler, Luggage Rack or Bareback 8. Sunroof (Y/N) 9. AC or AC Delete 10. Date on the door tag 11. Date on the ALDL 12. Date on the overhead light 13. What State the car is in (Michigan - Ohio whatever) 14. Any special notes (rebody - engine swap - non-stock color etc)
I know some may not want to or will not be able to provide all of the information but the more I get the better the information will be down the road.
Tracks the following info, although any info someone wants to share is welcomed. GTs: FACTORY exterior and interior colors, rim colors, seat type (Cloth, Cloth with Lumbar, or Leather), tranny type, roof type (Hardtop, Sunroof, or TTop with info on whether it's a CJB car or not). Formulas: same as the GT except the part about the seats, Coupes: same as the Formulas except the part about the rims. Of course, knowing whether the car is alive or dead is also important, and for those with easy access to the ALDL connector under the center console, the date on a sticker on that connector would also be nice to know. They all say "Week of xx/xx/xxxx" and have a shift number on them. Initially I had hoped it was tying the car to a week of production but now I'm not sure about that. It may only be the week the car's harness was assembled, or maybe it's something else entirely!
Any info on a car is appreciated, and you don't need to give me owner info at all if you don't want to. This is a car database and not an owner database. In collecting the above data over the last 10 years with the help of alot of people (many of whom are on this fantastic forum - Thanks Cliff!), I've managed to collect data on over 5000 cars. Not all the cars have all the above data but the more we get the more accurate the guess can be as to how many came with what options.
I'm doing the 87's. There is no web site - just e-mail me your info.

You can pm me at this ID or email me the data and I will see that it is entered into the registry.

So does anyone have any ideas on the 84, 85, and 86 databases? I coulda swore I saw a 84 and a 86 somewhere.
I have some room in the server I am renting, I need the aid of someone that would like to donate their programming skills. P.M. Me, I have (what I think is) a great idea to help all of the registries out. If I only had the skills.

Separate databases for each year? Apparently none of you are familiar with data modeling principles
I think a shared google spreadsheet or zoho.com database would make a lot more sense than emailing the details to a person to manually add to a database.

This is why I sent a "shout out" my man! . Glad you came to help. The main problem I see is that on each end someone has to manually add to his spreadsheet. And unfortunately most of them have so many at this point that it would be a monumental task to change that around at this point.
Tell me what you got in mind.

Hey twofatguys, I just want to say Thank You because I continue to get people replying with their info on their 1988 T top Fieros (either by email or phone) and on a side note: I have heard that N.I. F.E. have a small article about my T-top stuff, I haven't seen it yet and the info I gave them was a while ago and my information continues to get more and more complete!!! Thanks Again Fiero John-WI podziemj@matc.edu

I'm still working on the 87 data if anyone has any to send to me.
I am in favor of one unified database however ... the truth is that almost 80% of the information I have is NOT from owners but from what I have had time to collect on my own. So for me what is to be gained as I would still have to be the one inputting all the information.

Adding the RPO codes, placing them here until I can "recode" the original post. I know every time I edit it I have to redo each link. Thank you mattwa.
