Perhaps we now know why GM tapered the bottom of the nose!

But you know the Fiero nose slopes up for a reason. The approach angle on the Fiero is already bad and a Fiberglass spoiler makes it nearly zero. The best solution in my opinion is the flexible chin spoiler made out of an old nose... the "Lawrence/Skitime" version.
I know the previous owner had a chin spoiler on my car, but it got taken out by a Chicago pot hole. I also know FieroX had one on his car, but it got taken out while at the drag strip.
They look cool and do serve a purpose, but in the real world of driving it seems like a dangerous investment.

I suppose the front clearance is the most positive reason to have a wedge nose coupe... I will be switching out to the Aero body style eventually, but for now at least I can clear parking blocks.

No offense to anyone because I know that a lot of people like the way that they look, but I've always felt that the chin spoilers ruined the fluidity of the lines of the car. That's just my personal opinion.

Love the car shred looks great love the wheels. Nice looking fiero.
I always wanted a chin spoiler but knew that I wouldn't have it for long on Australian Roads so i made my own improvisation. I have a rubber chin spoiler and customized the side of my bar. Yours should be able to bolt back on after a little bit of resin repair. I Have enough problem with it being too low under doors to think about the front bar being too low too but i can go over speed humps in my car no problem.

I agree, to me the best looking nose was the 84. Had an italian look to it whilst the "aero" nose always seemed to look more American and NASCARrish. Chin spoilers only add to that stock car effect and I'm not a big fan.
This is why when my IMSA is driveable I'm going to either be taking the chin spoiler off or putting a FW chin spoiler on it... last thing i want to have to do is replace a DGP part.
