This is as good of a thread as any for FF2010 pics:
Nice high speed run spencer, I thought you were gonna blow up your car pulling 90+ up that hill..
So, the trip down was pretty exciting for the Spokane crew, about 4 whole miles from our starting point, Jeff's new LS4 thought it would let us know that it had a cold solder joint under the fuse panel. Thankfully, I was driving the Tahoe full of tools, and after some trial and error, Joe found the right wires to fix.
After about 15 minutes, the surprisingly supportive and helpful Washington State Patrol showed up to keep us safe on the side of the road. This all happened on a nice grass cloverleaf, with a perfect picnic tree in the middle of it, so the kids and ladies were hanging out in style while Jeff and the Joes worked.
Of course, as soon as the WSP see a bunch of Fieros pulled over, they reacted on instinct, and before long, these guys showed up just in case:
We waved them on their way, and packed up for the drive to Richland.
The show was great as always, and since I didn't have my car running yet I got roped into being a judge.. Here are some random shots from the day:
I managed to get my boys some rides for the cruise through town, here's my oldest Max in Joe jr's car:
And my youngest, Nolan, with Michelle:
Meanwhile, the wife and I ran up ahead of the group and pulled into the middle of the road to get some video of the crowd going by. Sorry about the quality, my phone is all I had with me at the time. It's at least in 480p if you click through:
That's almost all that I have, our family had a wonderful time as always, and I WILL have my car there next year!
Awesome pics and vids guys! So very glad that all made it home. 2010 Fiero Fest went off without a hitch. What a great group of people.! A big thanks to all that put this on, and supported it for so many years. You are all # 1 in my book. Richland, WA puts up with us every year, and a thank you to the people of Richland for a great place to hang.
Now, for the pics...
Joe III's 3400 DOHC monster, with new paint. What an amazing color to put on the Fiero. So many stares.
TheDrue's sweet turboed beast. Damion and his girlfriend Katie are some of the nicest folks that you will ever meet. It was a joy to meet you both, and thanks for the ride in your car. Maybe I need a turbo also?! You know, if you guys do ever make it out to Spokane, Amy and I have a room for you both. We would welcome you folks into our home anytime.
The Purple Pavement Eater...
Dwayne (sp) from Reno. Thank you so very much for all that you did to make this years Fiero Fest a huge hit. you hard work, and dedication really paid off ten fold in happiness, and joy. You da man!
Sara (sp) and Spencer (Shill) playing like kids on the swings. The Spokane alottment are glad that you two were able to make it. Looked like you guys had a great time. Awfully nice of Jeff and Karla to let you folks stay with them. We do got it good!
Check out the rims that my 87 Gt happened to be born with. I would say that they look great on Shill's ride.
I just could not resist it. Shill took it all in fun. Well, he has to. It's a "ricer" wing!
Dratts Lambo. A stretcher! FieroKing has something in his garage for you Don! It rhymes with LS more!
Mary Beth & Ben's 87 GT. Quite possibly the cleanest 87 GT in the world! I know that there must be a few that are nicer, but not more than a handfull.
Paul's 3800 monster. (Paul, I am totally ripping off your turn signal idea for the mirrors brotha. )
I did not know that a 3800 would run without a mess of wires and vacuum tubes?
Jim's very nice t topper...with Camaro dash.
Look at the new Truleo! I heard a little rumor about some HP comparisons. But, I will leave that up to Jim. Nice car man...
This showed up..... ZZ4 with twin hair dryers spinning to the tune of 700 + HP! He says that next year he will definately show up with a Fiero. He may have caught the bug?
Hey there T!
Whoo! Sexy ladies.
No one could possibly resist the puppies that attended the event. Melt your heart, it does.
Just sitting in the lot at the Shilo Inn.
Michelle and Greggs two contributions. Nice to see you guys.
A few pics of my 87GT. I took a first place in the Custom Modified Class! This is only her third show, and she has placed twice! Some cheesy pics of me are to follow, so be kind. Amy is my joy, and being 6 months pregnant, in a car with no AC, and having to deal with my Fiero friends, this woman did absolutely incredible! You are my rock Baby Girl!
Lining up for the run past the Hanford Nuclear Facility. Funny, but we all had a glow afterwards?! Do you think it was due to the drive, or the radiation? Hmmm?
Bring on the cheese!
A radiated sunset is quite beautiful!
The most important destination of the day.
Mary Beth and Ben. You would thaink that after 11 years, tehy would be able to find their way to Baskin Robbins.
Joe III on a roll. Thanks for your service to this great country Brother. Absolutely love the color choice for your ride.
Karla and Jeff (Dogcreek). I feel honored to call you two friends. You are one lucky man Jeff.
Gregg and Tyler enjoying the drive up 395. Your cars looks great. You should be very proud of her.
Joe and Anne. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for the gifts that you guys got for Benjamin! Friends like you guys are so very hard to find. Your hearts are bigger than you will ever know.
Spence and Sara. Real troopers. They borrowed my tent, and camped the first night. They would have done it the second night, but Jeff and Karla stepped in, like us Spokane folk do, and had them stay in their room. Giant hearts out here. Everybody is very happy that you two made it. It can be difficult when you are younger, but you two did awesome!
Aaron and Stacey in the support vehicle. You two pulled through BIG time! Stacey, thank you for keeping Amy company, while I did guy things. Aaron and I definately realize just how fortunate we are to have women like you two in our lives.
I have a ton more pics, but am just tired of typing. The 2010 Fiero Fest was a hugely successful hit, and I am practically falling over myself in anticipation of next year. Once again, a big to all of those that put this event on. I got to meet some new friends, and join up with some old ones. Thank you all for a memorable event! ------------------

There are a bunch of you that I did not mention. Names often elude me. But, the Fiero has a lot more to offer than just metal, rubber, and plastic. Some of the best folks drive Fieros. We had 85senotchie hang out, and actually become a judge. Very nice of you to do that for us Terry. To everyone that actually cleaned up the park after themselves... I saw a few of you pick things up, and throw them away that weren't even yours. very nice.
I have more to write, but that will wait for later.
Looks like you all had a great time and it's nice to see pictures of all those Fiero's together! I was really debating going this year, even though it would be a bit of a trip, and I wish that I had. It's going to be on my calendar for next year.

Awesome pics, Aaron and Tony. I'm glad someone caught a pic of you ironing on that "park bench wing." I was just about rolling on the floor laughing when Jeff told me you did that.
As always, lots of nice cars, lot of nice people, lots of fun. To anyone considering coming out to Northwest FieroFest, DO IT- it's something I look forward to every year. A real class act in every sense.

I was curious how fast I could get her going as i've never had a cleaner stretch of road to test her out on. The hill didn't feel too steep and I didn't feel her struggle much at all. Watched the speedo peg out at the bottom and the RPM's kept rising. No clue what the bottom of an 85MPH speedo is, but i'd say I have a good 1,500 RPMs after the speedo pegs.
We still need to meet up so I can grab that tent from you and put it back into the bag properly so I can return it to Tony.

wow, where to begin. This last weekend was an absolute joy! The cars were hott, the people were phenomenal and I had the pleasure of having both my babys there! As usual Katey took lots of great pics but what really made it were the people. Tony, it was awesome to meet you and your wife, we just might have to take up on the invite! Aaron, thanks for all the unsolicited advice! Alan with the purple pavement eater is such a nice guy, its so cool to see such a great car in the hands of a truly awesome man. Ben and his wife are such nice people, we had a fantastic cruise over and had a great time getting to know them. It is so cool meeting the Sokols, I never thought I would be able to talk so much with some of the great talent I see on this forum, sometime well have to put the two 3.4 cars together and see how they both stack up.
I really think I would not like these cars as much if the community was not so fantastic, it is an honor to be accepted by such a fine group of people. Katey enjoyed herself so much she even admitted that she is looking forward to next year!
On with the show!
The PPE doing what it does best!
Cruisin
My wonderful woman.
If it werent for that bug this looks kind of like a pic from an 80's magazine.
Ben's GR8 87
can you spot all three fieros?
That roof is LOOOOOOW
Some of the swaps, all look awesome!
Vanity...
Some more of the nicest people ever!
Look how excited she is to be cruising with me!
Well those are the highlites! Thanks for a great time and we look forward to next year.
Oh here are a couple more of interest of that beautiful corvair.
He really liked my car... Im honored.

Hey guys! Thanks for all the photos. I had to leave early and now I see all the fun stuff I missed. I'll be sure to make it next year and be a little better prepared, plus my car will be a lot more finished. Are they ever really finished? There's always something to improve or change. Great bunch of people!

Thanks bud! I was honored to have been asked and really enjoyed doing it. Did not get many pictures though, there is something wrong with my camera I plugged it in and only about half that were taken showed up on my memory card that really sucks but here are the ones that I did get.
P.S. If you wanted a picture taken Tony you could have asked
Thanks! Never let me take pics with a camera that is not mine. I only kept it clean for the honor of Fiero Fest.
TheDrue... You and Katey rock. Offer will stand. I need to get more info, but there is a run to Wallace, ID that is in the works. Any, and all are welcome. Details to follow...
Shill, I will grab my tent at some point. I am happy to lend it to you. You have a great woman there Shill. ;thumbsup:
I noticed some of my name spelling is off. I started to go back and edit, but you all know that the misspelling is not out of disrespect.
I swear that I am still on a high from this weekend. My day just seems brighter.

Aaron, I certainly was not poking fun. You had great advice and I will take it all to heart... at least what I can remember!
Im just doing my best to stay as young as possible for as long as possible! I had no idea a couple kids like Katey and me could have so much fun with the "older" crowd. You guys are the greatest!
A big thanks to those who have posted pictures in this thread. I took a few pictures but none of them captured the feel of the event as these photos have. I had a great time and the pictures in this thread capture the excitement.

Yesterday TheDrue says "older" crowd. Then the Dr. at our baby appointment say advanced maternal ages! Arrrrgh! It is happening right before my eyes, and there is not a damn thing that I can do about it. I am going to the gym...

Oh ouch.. Although the pain was lessened by the fact that I had to go get my reading glasses to make out the tiny print on this new-fangled machine, and all of my emotional reactions are dulled by the scores of geriatric medications I'm on...
Tony, don't bother goin' to the gym, you'll just see more youngsters there. All they do is show up, watch the tv in the work out room and grow muscles. They stay skinny by texting.

That color looks similar to a color that was available on either 79,80 or 81 Firebirds. I have always liked that color and I have been talking to my wife about that color for the Fiero which happens to be a notiche. It's nice to see it on the cars.

I'd like to attend this year's event but we are in the middle of buying land, building a house, moving, living out of boxes and culling junk. Plus my car is still rough. Maybe I could be the designated photographer--I was a government photog and still have two of my Nikons. Maybe next year?
