First to post in what will surely be another long term thread, I plan to be there again. This time hopefully the car will start on the track with everyone waiting on me .
Hopefully rolling out some new updates on the car too. Maybe this time I wont have cracked paint.
CowsPatoot "Neither will quite be show quality....but that isn't really the point, is it?"
you're right about that, my car's paint is deteriorating quite nicely and I haven't been able to paint it yet but that's the way I'm taking it to Daytona.
It's too early for me to tell. I'm planning on going down the FL for the final launch of Endeavour, and that's currently scheduled for Feb. 26. Not sure if I'll be able to make another FL trip so soon after that. I'll have to play it by ear and see how scheduling (mine, and NASA's) evolves.

JoesFiero...it wouldn't be the same without the battle scars....
Haha, maybe this time you wont have just one funky interview, do you still have that video? Id love to see it even though its probably just me rambling about my busted up car.
The wife said its time to show up with a car that doesnt die on the track, and has nice paint. Hopefully I can get it done before the show (and maybe some other mods....)

At the rate your going.......fat chance of that. I need you around to do some thangs to my car though, so maybe I should come down there and stay at your house as sort of a body guard, but just to protect you from yourself.

This year was my first of (hopefully) many more. I have the dates on the calendar for vacation at work already. I will be there.
It was nice meeting you last year, hope to see you again. My horn probably still wont work though so if you park near me for the picture, I will probably just make honking noises again with my mouth again. Thats the last of my concerns right now.

170 days to go and counting.... Anyone else planning to attend?
let's hear from you and what you have planned for your car if anything. In other words we need more post to stay on top.
Goal this coming year as with this year is to beat the previous Fiero attendance. So if it's been a while since you go to a Daytona Fiero event maybe you can make it to this up-coming one.
looking forward to seeing everyone again!
Still to early to know about the Sugar Mill but I'm sure we'll have to contact Clem at some point to make the reservations, just like last time.

Clem (LT188GT)----Yours truly----Angel (87GT2m6)------ and my best friend Carlos this is when my car still had a nice paint job....The Florida sun has taken its toll on it.

"Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention to arrive safely in a pretty and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming: Wow!! What a ride!"
Jimmy as you can remember this year we had I believe two Solstices at the show and Frank wants to add them to the group. This coming year the Solstice folk will be attending the event so expect more than two. I hope more Fieros show up for next years show than we had this year.

Want to let everyone know early this year...I will host passer-thru's at my house in Pensacola Florida and then we can make a big line on Fieros from my house to Daytone in one day (about 6-7 hours). I have 5200 sq ft and access to a load of camper spaces if anyone is traveling with a camper. It is about 10 miles from the interstate so super convienient! Just let me know early if you will be passing through and stopping for the largest steak dinner this side of the Mississippi! Oh....even better....we could all go to McGuires Irish Pub!!!!

So were now a Solstice community also?
I know there were 2 Solstices last year but this has always been and should remain a "Fiero" event. I fully understand that anyone can bring any car they want but adding a Solstice to the shirt is just wrong IMO.
Whats next, adding the Bonneville, Grand Am, Grand Prix and so on... people to it also?
