I know this has been discussed before but I have looked through past threads and can`t find exactly what I`m looking for.
I have also looked at the offset chart but I hve a couple of questions.
Do you guys think on an 88 that 18 x 8 wheels with a 35mm offset on rear and a 45mm offset on front would look ok?
Also, an 8 inch wheel with a 35mm offset on the rear will that clear the rear suspension.
I have seen the rear set-up I`m asking about in pictures but I haven`t seen the front with a 45mm offset, just about a 38mm.
Thanks in advance.

First of all, is your car an '84-'87, or an '88? The stock sizes and offsets are different.

Second of all, (and for what its worth),
I have an '88 running 16x7" w/+48mm offsett front and rear, with 225/50-16 up front and 245/50-16 on the rear.
I have had no problems with clearance or rubbing.

The car is an 88 and I was thinking the wheel on the rear would work.
I just wasn`t sure if a 45mm offset on the front would tuck the wheel in too far.

Im running 17x7 (45) and 17x8 (35) on my 88 coupe. I put 215 on the front, and 245 on the rear. I do have WCF coilovers on the rear, but I still have the stock struts, and the rims don't come close to hitting the spring perch. Also running dropped springs on the front and my UCA/LCA don't hit the rims either.

here is a link to a pic of the car. I don't have PIP on my work machine. https://www.fiero.nl/forum/F.../HTML/067014-86.html bottom of the page.
